Bloodlust Dystopia (Shoto Todoroki x Katsuki Bakugo)

Chapter 26

The male vampire's eyes immediately widened after seeing a spark from the sky, aimed to the current house he was in. He quickly rushed to the room, went to wake after Katsuki who was deeply sleeping.

"Katsuki, wake up-!"

A loud bam was heard then. The 'spark' earlier hit the room they were in and starting to spread fire all throughout the room. Shoto was covering Katsuki. He doesn't know why, himself reacted by itself. Just the moment he realized they were in danger, he unintentionally begins to protect the other. But he was glad of it.

Katsuki, on the other hand flustered by how close they were. Shoto looked at the created hole. What was the thing thrown? Could it be their identity was known? He turned his gaze to the werewolf, noticing how the other being oddly silent. He quickly let go of him. "My apologies. You're alright?"

"Of course I fucking am. You?" Katsuki responded back.

Before Shoto was able to answer, the roof top beginning to fall apart due to the spreading fire. Shoto hissed to the heat which starting to burn his skin. Katsuki whom noticed grabbing the other's arm and quickly pulling him off the spot and lead the other to exit the house. Shoto followed without arguing. Vampires were very sensitive towards fire after all. A fire arrow through his heart could burn the whole body within three seconds.

"Who the fuck fucking disturbing my sleep?! I'm going to kill them all-" Katsuki growled angrily. His nose then slowly caught a sense of humans coming their way, then his eyes widened. "I could fucking scents silver shits- Hunters found out our place!"

"I can see that. Let's go, hurry!" Shoto exclaimed.

"I'll just kill every single of them, just run if you want!"

"Don't be stubborn. They're too many. Also, knowing this location isn't a thing human can. Only my siblings knew about this place-"

"Then your sister must be the one telling it!" Katsuki yelled. Fuyumi? She won't ever tell anyone about this home, even if her life on the line. But if she did, Shoto couldn't blame her.

Once running footsteps of the hunters were heard, they begins their run into the forest. Though, a sudden huge figure was seen in front of them and they immediately stopped.

"Well. Have enough hiding yourself, failed son?

Fuyumi....was indeed a nice sister. Not thinking of her life and more focused on you,"

"What have you done to her?!!" Shoto yelled. Anger has controlled himself. Katsuki growled lightly, readying his defense self. His most hated man is now in front him. He could swear he would have attack him right away.

"What do you expect? She told me what I wanted, and I tortured her. Just telling her I straight away kill you was enough to conceal her telling this place,"

"I did said I won't kill you two right away. See? It'll take few minutes for you to die in those hunter's hands,"

"You shit-!"

Right after Katsuki's yell, Shoto's father disappeared and rain of silver bullets has started. They both dodged every of them in high speed. The attack just won't stop, it kept coming without delay.

"Kill them quick! Before they attacked us and the innocents in the city! We have to get rid of them in an instant!"

Shoto's eyes caught a sight of a huge rock immediately pulled Katsuki to his way and used the rock as shield. They were both breathing heavily due to exhaustion. Every second of trying to look behind would be an instant death. Katsuki's crimson orbs fell on Shoto's bleeding arm and he felt unease.

"Halfie, your fucking arm!" He pointed out. Shoto wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for Katsuki telling him. Shaking his head, he responded. "This is nothing. We should figure out how to get out from here. Should we wait?" Shoto asked.

"Wait huh. They'll able to get even nearer and detect our whereabout at this rate. We need to act now!" Katsuki yelled.

Shoto looked around. If there's just something they could use- his cape, probably be bulletproof but it couldn't stay long. Then, Shoto noticed a log nearby.  Giving a sign to Katsuki, the werewolf nodded and detected the human's whereabout once more with his scents. Once he could confirm Shoto shielded Katsuki with his cape and Katsuki grabbed the log. With all his might, he threw few logs in a lot of strength and speed, hitting the group of humans and make them distracted. The bullet rain has stopped. Shoto and Katsuki used the opportunity to kill them all while then. Even so, Shoto was still hesitated on killing some of the human which made Katsuki to end them by himself. Shoto looked at the corpses in silent.

"You really need to get rid of that softness you had, Half and half," Katsuki scoffed. "They will kill us once they had the chance. So do us,"

"They were killing out of fear. Can't we just, try to talk to them at least?"

"Shut it! You do know how selfish they are. Whatever fuck weird to them, they'll kill them all! That was just their nature!"

"Then, won't that be the same for us? Just look how selfish my father- no, that old man is," Shoto pointed out. He thinks every of this wasn't right. He was clueless in what he should do.

Katsuki stared for a while before sighing. "Hand over your arm," He exclaimed. Without waiting the other's response, Katsuki grabbed Shoto's bleeding arm and starting to lick the wound, which immediately made Shoto's face turned red.

"K-Katsuki! What were you-"

"Shut up! This is how wolves treat their wounds and I'm going to fucking do it on you. So don't make it weirder than it already is!"

Shoto stayed silent after that, letting the other to clean his wound by licking. How embarrassing can this situation be. Shoto averted his gaze away from looking on such sight, hiding the fact his face was red.

"I....am going to save my sister," Shoto stated out of blue.

"Also me,"

Katsuki's answer was something unexpected for Shoto. "It's too dangerous. Let me go alone,"

"No fucking way! I have my business with that damned man too and I'm going to kill him for sure! And if you get killed-"

Katsuki's sentence was paused, before continued.

"....I will not have anyone anymore," Katsuki muttered, his cheeks visibly pink.

Shoto was out of words from Katsuki's confession. His lips shaped into a soft smile, before he embraced the blond tightly in his arms.

"Thank you, for being on my side. But I'm afraid of the fact losing you too. If you come along...can you promise me to stay alive?" Shoto murmured.

Katsuki was surprised when he was pulled into the hug. But slowly embraced the vampire back. "Of course. I'm not as weak as you expect me to be, Shoto. So do you. You have to fucking promise me you'll stay alive. Or I'll need to kill you even in afterlife,"

Shoto chuckled. Kill even in afterlife. The blond never take his treathening words seriously and Shoto knew that.

"Alright,"
