Chapter 10: The Premiere

{Francesca's POV}
I zoomed out of the cafeteria. I NEED a date. Not because I wanted one, but mainly to make Brandon jealous.

Hmmm...? Where do all the single guys hang out? THE GIRLS LOUNGE.

When I got there I saw almost all guys. And dang. They were hot. I never noticed how many attractive guys went here, probably because I was always with Brandon so there was no need to notice. Maybe being single isn't that bad.

I need someone cute, smart and athletic. All the things Brandon is.

~30 minutes later~

Ok it's official. All the cute guys are stupid and all the smart guys aren't cute. Maybe I should just stop looking and not try to make Brandon jealous.

I grabbed my phone and sat on the couch looking at it.

"Yeah sorry coach I can't go to practice tomorrow."

I looked up and saw a cute guy talking to Brandon's football coach.

"What do you mean you can't go?" The coach responded angrily.

"I have a huge math test tomorrow and I really need to study." The guy said.

"Fine just make sure you are at practice on Monday"

I stand up and look at the guy again. He's cute, athletic, and smart. Well it looks like I found a date. Now I just need to talk to him.

I walk over to him slowly. I'm actually kind of nervous.

"Hey!" I say. Really Francesca really?

"Uh hey" he looks at me then smiles. "Ohhh you're Francesca right?"

I laugh. "Yes I am. How did you know?"

He smiles. "My name is Ethan by the way and Brandon always talks about you"

Brandon used to talk about me? Awww

"Yeah well we aren't together anymore..." I say shyly.

"Oh. Well it's his loss. You seem like a very nice girl."

"Thanks" I say

"So um since you and Brandon aren't Dating anymore, maybe you would you would like to go to a movie with me on Friday?" He says while blushing.

I smile at him. "Hmm it depends... What movie?"

"I was thinking 'A Foggy Love'" he responds.

"Well actually I have plans Friday but what about Saturday?"

"Ok! Saturday is cool" I could see the excitement in his eyes.

"Perfect" I say
