Chapter 29

~2 months later~
Alexandra
It's Valentine's day and I have a very special surprise for Nik tonight. Serena walks in and hands me the shirt she made. I put it on, along with a big hoodie and she smiles, "You'll be fine. How are you feeling?"
"I'm alright just nervous." She grabs my hands then says, "You'll be fine, Andy. He loves you so he'll be happy." I nod and she leads me out of the room and down the stairs. Nik is standing in the living room, holding a picnic basket and blanket. I smile and he smiles back, "Ready?"
"Yeah, lets get going." He grabs my hand and leads me outside towards a clearing where we are having our dinner. He lays the blanket on the grass then sets the basket down. We sit down then he pulls out two BLT sandwiches with extra bacon, a bag of Doritos, and two bottles of lemonade. "All my favorite food," I whisper, like I couldn't believe it. "Of course, come on, eat baby." I dig into the food, laughing occasionally when Nik would almost choke on a piece of bacon. Once we finish, we lay back on the blanket just staring at the stars when I say, "Nik, I need to show you something."
"What is it, baby?" I stand up, my back to him, then I unzip the hoodie, throwing it behind me. I turn around and show him the shirt that has a dialogue bubble pointing to my stomach which says, "Hi, daddy." I smile when his eyes widen, "You're pregnant?" I nod then he stands up and hugs me tightly. "We are finally getting our own baby." He kneels down, lifts up my shirt then whispers, "Hi there, baby. This is your daddy and I couldn't be happier that you're going to be in our lives soon. We love you so much." He kisses my tiny bump then stands up to kiss me, "I love you, my mate."
"I love you too." He rubs my stomach as we lay back down on the blanket, "How long have you known?"
"When was the last time we had sex?"
"A month ago." I think about it, "Well two weeks after, I kept throwing up, so I had Vince take some blood for a pregnancy test and he gave me the results a few hours later. I was pregnant and had been for a week already but I wanted to wait to tell you."
"You're already three weeks." I nod and he rubs my stomach lightly. "So I guess we need to push the wedding back." I shake my head, "No, I want to get married during the spring besides I'll only be 2 or 3 months pregnant." He nods and I kiss his cheek, "You want to know something?"
"What?" I smile then intertwine my fingers with his, "I love you, wolf man."
"I love you too, angel."
