Attack.

Abhay's POV:
Arinav was still resting in Karan's room.. He was still  very weak. Karan, Anamika and Shinzi were seated in the living room.. Karan's anxiety and depression was clear on his face.  To be honest, when Shifan and Mulan informed me about Chand being imprisoned and Haseena ruling the kingdom, the only thing that came into my mind was 'this was expected'. Though I felt bad for the natives there because I know that Haseena is an oppressive rulers who can go to any extent to fulfill her selfish motive. She looks at everything with her selfish intent. But truly I didn't feel like mourning for my Dad, or going and saving him for her clutches.. But Karan has more emotions than me. He is living, though he is a satan, he is breathing the filthy air of hell.. His heart is beating. And he is a werewolf, who are known for their unity! Of course he will be distressed. Shinzi sat beside him, and kept her hand on his shoulder. SHe tried to pacify him and calm him down. Karan also responded. He brought his hand close to his shoulders and held her hand tightly.. Shinzi cupped his hands with her hands.. Anamika sat beside me. She reached out and placed her palm on my hand. I squeezed her hand and straightened up.
"Guys! Arinav is speaking of a war!  A damn war! " I shouted
"We all know that Abhay! " Karan spoke. "But the question is, how will we do that? ".
" That is not the question Karan, the question is WHY will we do that? On what grounds? " I retaliated
"On what grounds? Your mother is ruling the kingdom negatively Abhay! Vinci has completely ruined Woodland Canines! " Anamika spoke. "Abhay, you and karan are the chosen ones!  That is your destiny, "
"Arre! Do hell with the destiny! " I said. "We might be apparently chosen one!  But what quality do you see in me and Karan for being the so called chosen one? We don't even know why are we chosen! This is nonsense! " I shouted.
For some reason, there was a conflict going on in my mind. I was not sure what reason that was. May be, I feared going against the ritual of the hell, or maybe I feared of losing Anamika in the war, or maybe I feared of killing my mother.. I wanted to be in this happy place with my Anamika and Karan and Shinzi. I didn't want any conflict in our peaceful lives. I was waging a war with my conscience, which was provoking me for the war..

"Abhay, try to understand, the hell needs this war! " Anamika got up and stood just in front of my nose. She held me by my arms and squeezed them..
"WE don't need the war! Karan, listen to me. " I looked at Karan. "Do you really think that you should do anything for Woodland Canines after what it had done to you? " I searched an answer in his eyes but he kept mummed..
"Answer Abhay. Karan, do you also think that this war is unnecessary? " Shinzi spoke in a hushed voice to Karan. Karan still kept silent.
"Answer me damnit! " I shouted.
Karan looked at me.
"No! " He broke the ice. "We don't need the war. " He said.
I felt a bit relaxed by his answer.. I sighed.
"I won't do anything for the Woodland Canines! It didn't trust me when I needed them the most! My mother and my brother came into that idiot's words and insulted me to the peak of Tiffany!  Now they are getting back their deeds! Karma won't spare the devils too! I won't help them! " Karan said.
"But Karan! It was Arinav and Siyaq who disbelieved you! Not the natives! Why would they suffer Vinci's oppression! Think with a thanes' perspective, not with a son's perspective! " Shinzi tried to convince him
"Whatever Shinzi! I am not a thane!  They, the whole of Woodland Canines exiled me and also gave my position to someone else! Why should I take the burden of setting them free! I am a betrayer na! Let me be the bad boy then! Let me remain the betrayer then! " Karan grinned his teeth and his yellow eyes showed anger, hatred and the insult very clearly!  It felt as if his whole body was on fire. Shinzi lamented.
Anamika looked at me. Her blue eyes pleading me to think twice. I nodded a no and stormed into my own room.

Karan's POV:
"I won't wage a war! Why would I do so...?  I want to remain here peacefully. Arinav is also here, we are a family here!  And let us be here forever peacefully" I thought. I strolled up and down in my room with conflicting thoughts and war with myself.. Abhay was right, why would I do anything for Woodland Cannes if it has not done its duty towards me, not given me justice when I needed it! I heard a knock on my door. I turned around to find Shinzi on the door. She neared me with pleading eyes and a baby face. But i am not going to fall for her this baby face!  She is not demanding a toy or something! She is wanting a war!
"No shinzu, no! No thoughts, no words at all! " I warned her beforehand.
"But karan... " Shinzi tried to speak.
"No means no! " I interrupted. I found a sudden disappointment in her eyes. She looked towards the ground seriously. I don't know why, I suddenly felt an instant guilt for not hearing her out.
"Come on Karan! What is wrong with  you!? At least hear her out na! She has come to your room to place her opinion! At least give her a chance to say! " I thought.  And I gave in to her.
She looked at me a little excited..
"Karan, I am not telling you to wage a war if you don't want to. I am just asking you to think over it. I know, what you are thinking is justified but at least listen to me once. Think over it. " Shinzi pleaded.
"Shinzi, think calmly, don't let your adrenaline control your pituitary gland!  To wage a war we need resources, satans, weapon and strategies! War is not something instant like blood.. It is a long process! We have nothing with us! Try to understand shinzu. " I tried explaining.
Shinzi thought for a while and she agreed with me.
"I agree with you Karan. I know it is a long process. But destiny has led you and Abhay till here. It will ignite that zeal within you two too. Just believe in Destiny. "
"You are talking like humans shinzu.." I smirked.
She shrugged.
We were conversing, when suddenly I felt a tremendous negative energy running within me! I straightened! My ears went straight. That is energy is related to Abhay! He is in danger. Without a second thought I stormed out of the room, following my instinct.
"What happened karan? Where are you going? " I could her Shinzi screaming from behind.
"No time to say" I shouted back without stopping. As I headed towards Abhay's room I could see Anamika hurrying towards the same direction. She had the same concern on her face which I had!
"Anamika? What are you doing here" I paused to ask her this one.
"Karan, can't you feel? Your friend is in danger! I need to get to him. As fast as possible. " She literally pushed me to head faster. If I had not been in a hurry I would have applauded her connection with Abhay which was as deep as us. Oh Abhay you are lucky!
I too followed Anamika to Abhay's room, but found no one. That increased our worry manifold. While Shinzi stood blankly outside the said room, both of us tried to connect to Abhay. Anamika connected to him first.
"Abhay where are you? I am tensed! What happened.. " Anamika asked
Probably she got an answer as she opened her blue eyes wider and in her vampire speed she rushed out of the room.. I too followed her, changing my myself into the werewolf form to catch her speed.
