The Umbra

"Shinzi Dogri, the younger daughter of the devildant" Anamika shouted. Shinzi was snoring on her bed and as usual the bat hanged upside down above her letting all her brown tresses fall on Shinzi's face tickling every part of her. Shinzi jumped out of her bed. Her face was reddened and blown off, she didn't like anyone disturb her while sleeping! 

"Oh come on ANAMIKA! You know you are not allowed to wake me up while I am sleeping! You can never sleep and that is your problem! But that doesn't mean you will not let ME sleep! I was dreaming.." 

"About Karan Masiki?" Anamika chuckled.

"Very funny sister! Go and trouble your one." 

"My One?" Anamika made an innocent, childish face much likely to tease her sister. "I dont know anyone called 'my one'! What are you talking about?"

"Abhay Raichand, who is most likely reading books in the room next to yours..I mean to say, come on he is your mate! And you should go and disturb him instead of me." Shinzi made a snorting sound curling up her nose cutely.

"OK I am leaving. But I will not show you this then." Anamika showed a folded letter in her hand, 'ONLY FOR MY DEAREST SHINZU.' - it read. 

"What? Where did you get this from?" Shinzi shouted excitedly! 

"Karan's study. "

"You asked him for this?"

"Nah! I simply stole it. This is a love letter dude! He was planning to give this to on your birthday! I read his thoughts about this letter!"

"MY BIRTHDAY! IS HE A MORON! He knows very well, devil's birthday comes once in 4 years! That would be so late!" Shinzi exclaimed. She was eagerly waiting to read the letter. 

"Or maybe after the war. The war hasn't started yet. So it might take him some time to officially mate you." 

"Whatever ! just read the letter." Shinzi instructed.

"Uhun...not so fast sister, Abhay will read it first." Anamika taunted.

But Shinzi was Shinzi. She knew her ways. Out of nowhere she started crying. She knew Anamika would melt seeing her tears. "Ok ok, here. take it. Read it. Now stop crying!" 

Shinzi took the envelope in her hands and tore it open to unfold the letter:

Dearest Shinzu,

                                 I can never completely express my feelings for you, because what I feel for you is not some poem that i will write. It is much more deeper. I get possessive of you whenever I see you with any other lad! I get worried of you if you are not there with me. And I can do everything, literally everything for you. When I met you for the first time, you were so vulnerable, you were weak and like an angel you lay in front of me. You looked at me for the split of a second before collapsing, but that felt as if time stopped. I know I am being cheezy now, but I have nothing to do! And when you landed on my balcony for the first time, I wanted to know more about you, that was because I was attracted to you! You slept on my bed cuddling me like a pillow, you sat on my stomach thinking me to be a couch, you slapped me for trying to access your information without permission and you quarell with me all the fucking time!- But you know what all this feels so good! You were the one who supported me when i got exiled, You were the one who lifted my mood when I was low and you are the one who makes me feel like this! Like this! I feel like a baby when i am with you! I care about nothing but you when I am there with you! And I am falling for you head over heels. I LOVE YOU! And I love you till the end of the universe! I dont know if you feel the same way but I promise I will not stop loving you even if your answer for this is a No.
