Princess Elizabeth sat there listening with a strange curiosity and wonder in her eyes . The tavern guy sat there , looking between you and Elizabeth with a huge grin on his face.
Soon enough he took you two back downstairs and said he was going to feed Elizabeth. You watched as she looked at the food in wonderment at the meal.
"First you nurse me back to health and now you're feeding me? What can I do to repay you?" Elizabeth says . You roll your eyes as the pig speaks again and you seem to become entranced in it. Elizabeth takes a bite and tears run down her face before she swallows and compliments the food. A smile crosses your face. They carry on conversation for a few minutes and then you get bored and tired and you lay your head down on the bar.
But before you can fall asleep loud bangs sound on the door. The people at the door announce themselves , revealing that they were looking for the rust knight.
"What's wrong with everyone today?" The tavern keeper says. He moves towards the door and starts to open it.
"Hey get out here!" Some man yells. You watch as the tavern keeper opens the door and starts conversation with them. The talking pig soon walks around with the armor on and the knights stand in confusion.
You have Elizabeth behind the bar. Hiding so that you aren't spotted. She moves towards the door and you don't notice. You see the tavern boy get picked up by his collar and then the knights yell about some girl. They all take off in a separate direction and you sigh,wishing she would've just stayed inside.
You leap over the bar and follow the knights. As you're all running you see the talking pig pass you and start hitting all of the knights. Elizabeth runs to the edge of a cliff and then she rises into the air. You jump up as well, seeing that the tavern keeper had rescued her. They stand on the edge of the cliff and he asks her why she wants to find the seven deadly sins. You just listen silently. He motions for you to move beside him and you sit on the ground next to him. You played with the grass as you listened to their conversation, bored and tired. You listen to her talk about how the Holy Knights are corrupt and you try to ignore her hurtful words and accusations.
Only seconds later you felt the ground shake and the piece of ground you were sitting on fell. You tumbled through the air and tried to catch something. Anything. You felt a hand grab your waist and it was the tavern keeper pulling you to safety. You collapsed into the ground as you made it back to the cliff side. You were beyond confused about this boys abilities.
"You there! How dare you survive without my say so!" You recognizes the voice, looking up to see a holy knight.
"When I signal, run into the forest." The tavern boy said, helping you up.
"Which one of you is believed to be a member of the Seven Deadly Sins?" You gulped as the Holy Knight watched from afar, his hand on his sword,ready to draw.
You figured he wouldn't recognize you. You looked different without your armor on. The holy knight came to the conclusion that Princess Elizabeth was in fact Princess Elizabeth. You began to realize the severity of the situation as you started to inch towards the forest.
"You! Don't move! I see you moving ." The Holy Knight yelled. You stopped in your tracks and reached into your back pocket, your dagger in hand.
"Go now!" The tavern boy yelled and you made a break for it into the woods. The Holy Knight sent a wave of energy that cut down every single tree on the mountain. You stumbled and fell as did Elizabeth. The tavern keeper sat over Elizabeth making sure she woke up. Then he walked over and helped you up. The pig had a splinter in its back and you couldn't help but laugh at the overreaction of the pig.
Elizabeth begins to walk towards the Holy Knight but he sends another burst of energy right towards her. The tavern boy knocks her out of the way as you jump to the side to avoid your death. You watch as the talk and then you see it. His sleeve has been blown off and you see a mark.
"A sin." You whisper to yourself. Suddenly everything that had happened made sense. This was one of the Seven Deadly Sins. And from the description is was in fact the leader. Meliodas.
You are lost in your thoughts but he says something about his name and you can see the shock on Elizabeths face.
She makes her connection but the Holy Knight strikes them with a burst of energy. Meliodas just stands there and the attack does no damage.
They continue to fight but the Holy Knight is sent flying through the air, dusting flying all around him. In the dust a large branch from a tree cane flaying towards you and before you could duck it had hit you square in the face, knocking you unconscious. The last thing you thought about was the great Meliodas.
