(Stanley's Point of View)

As we walked to the restaurant, I kept noticing that Bill didn't have on his wedding ring. I knew Bill was married and don't get me wrong, his wife was probably beautiful, but I don't understand why Bill would go out without his ring. Instead of asking him about it, I chickened out, which was normal.

Me and Patty had divorced and it was friendly. Since we failed to have a kid, we decided that it would be best in our relationship to call it quits. We were on rocky ground when I left for Derry and we thought that having a kid would fix it. But since we couldn't have one, once I got back from Derry, we got the divorce.

My train of thought was broken when Bill looked at me. "So, what happen with you and P-Patricia?" His eyes slightly pierced my soul.

"Oh, we got divorced.. our spark kind of died out.." I looked up at him slightly. I've always been slightly shorter than Bill, but now it's ridiculous.

"What happened with you and your wife? I noticed you weren't wearing your wedding ring."

Bill laughed softly. "After I returned from D-Derry I realized I didn't l-love her anymore.."

Oh, wow. He didn't love the girl he wrote in a book. That's strange.

"I love s-someone else." Bill continued.

Those words hit my heart like a drum.

"Oh?," My eyes widened slightly. "Who is she?," I realized what I said was dumb, due to the fact that Bill had came out to everyone as bisexual. "I meant, who are they?"

Bill blushed deeply. "I don't know if he likes me b-back though St-Stan.. I mean, the way he looks at me m-makes me feel l-like a kid again.." His blush grew darker when I smiled.

Fuck you William Denbrough. Why are you so cute?!

When we got into the restuarant, it was nice. It was the same restuarant we went to as kids. It looked a lot newer and more adult based. The beer and liquor at the bar immediately made Richie walk over but Eddie hit him on the back of the head as they walked to their table.

I sat down first, since Bill and Eddie had to go to the restroom. So it was just me and Richie.

It was just calming silence before Richie's loud mouth looked at me. "So Stanley, when are you gonna ask Bill out?" I rolled my eyes and sighed at Richie's question.

"When are you gonna as Eddie out?," I looked at him with a serious face. I really hated when Richie was being loud and obnoxious. "Besides, Bill likes someone else anyway."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Richie handed me a piece of paper that was in Bill's hand writing.

Dear Stan,
If Richie hands this to you, it means that I wanted to tell you something, but not in person. Well, here goes nothing. Ever since we were kids, we were inseparable. I felt terrible for dragging you into the whole Pennywise thing. I know you are still traumatized.. I mean, getting your face bitten into by an evil painting is really bad. But I hope you know I'm sorry. I'm sorry and you have the right to hate me. But, I just wanted to let you know is that, I love you Stanley Uris. I love you more than anything else in the world. I want you to be mine.
                                                Love, Bill
