Chapter-8 close friend?

Heyy, sorry for the late update...

Riyaz's POV
The party was going on well. As assured by Bhai I was not bored. Althaf Bhai was my second brother after Bhai. He was like the best. But something was wrong with me today. I couldn't take my eyes off Anaya. She was stunning. This was the first time I'm feeling like this. She was full of life and energy. Laughing and smiling. I walked to her, "hey Anaya.." I said loudly as the music was loud. She was bored I guess. "Hello" she replied with her sweetest smile. "Sooo..? Sup, how's lyf?" I asked. "How it's supposed to be." She said trying to avoid me. "Smart!" I said raising an eyebrow. She smiled again. Oh god I m going crazy. Even though she was trying to avoid me. That was not happening. Lol... With that she started speaking about random things and I sat there like a dumb looking at her. I swept my hair aside running my hands through them. I guess this was her weakness. She stared at me. We were interrupted by a cough it was Faaz and Filza I guess they have become great friends. Anaya excused herself.

Anaya POV
I felt really awkward after talking to Riyaz. In fact we both were feeling the same. I try avoiding him because I go crazy when he's around. Idk what's up with me. I swear I find it even hard to breathe when I'm with him. Eww.. Y am I acting like this.. Cliche...
Filza and Faaz had turned out to be really good friends. Whereas Myrah was busy admiring her Prince Charming..
Later on after the show we were having dinner together. I was a nervous wreck at the stage. The program was coming to an end. It was time to announce the model of highfield. "So ladies and gentlemen here comes the most awaited moment the winner of the highfield fashion contest will be announced by Mr Althaf the judge he is the one who selected the winner". Let me make it clear I have 0% interest in this. Unlike Myrah . Anyway it was just for fun. Myrah did it really well. Althaf took over, "hello everyone, so the winner of the highfield fashion contest is..." He said in his gentle voice looking at Myrah. I m sure it's her. "It's Myrahhhhhh Zaid" he said with excitement. Myrah was so happy. She started jumping like a kid who got its fav lolly. She quickly gave us a quick hug and walked to the stage. With full confidence. I just love it. She reached and the guess all congratulated her. Then it was Althaf he smiled at her shook hands and handed her the trophy. She was staring at him. It was like a pause in the scene. Suddenly "Woahhhhhhh Myrah....." Me and Filza shouted loudly. Everyone looked at us and started applauding and howling. She took the trophy and held it up in the air. All congratulated her. She was so happy. I was so proud of her.
Myrah POV
Excitement was all I had. It felt like my never impossible dream was coming true. Oh god. Filza had captured that moment. It felt so good. Today was the best day. After that there was some DJ playing. All were dancing but we chose to sit and speak, have fun.. We enjoyed a lot. I must say Althaf was a really good person. His looks were so good... At last it was time to go. "Oh god I swear if I stay here any longer I fall. These heels are killing me. " Anaya whined. All laughed at her. "Chill Anaya we are leaving now." I informed her. She was not at all like me she Hates all this. But yah loves fashion but limited not like me. Filza on the other hand the simplest beauty. "Myrah, congrats again hope to meet you again. Tc bye." Althaf said. "Thnx, yah sure bye" I smiled at him. With that we left and went home. Today was the best day.
Filza's POV
We had a lot of fun today. It was the best. I laid down on my bed all exhausted but I wanted to write down in my book. My emotions and memory book. I started pouring my heart.
"Today was the best day. We had a lot of fun. I m really happy for Myrah. Faaz and I have become really good friends. I never thought the guy who got me into an accident would reach here. And be this good. He s a very good person. I guess I found another close friend." And blah blah I wrote till I slept.
