Kylie's POV
I can't believe it! I've found my love for christmas this year wow what an amazing gift!
"Hey kylie?" Danielle asks
"Hi danielle I'm so excited! Jake is absolutely the best" i beam smiling
She fake smiles "umm yeah about that he's cheating on you" she says
[She's my bestfriend and sister by the way or she was....]
"No he isn't don't lie to me" i say annoyed
"I'm not lying to you but whatever" she leaves and i go and look for jake i see him kissing another girl the champagne glass in my hand breaks in my hand
"Babe i can exlain" he says
"Save it" i say leaving
*end of flashback*
I haven't spoken to either of them i have roomate staying in my apartment who has become my bestfriend now she's hilarious too but she can't replace Danielle not like it matters but i do miss her though I'm out walking it's snowing and it's a few weeks before christmas looks like I'll be single :/ as I'm walking i don't see the patch of ice i slip but before i fall i feel two strong arms around me i look up and see a handsome man [wow he's gorgoues] i smile embrassed "uh hey! Thanks" i say standing up
He chuckles "have a habit of falling on ice?" He asks
I chuckle "nope just thinking"
"About what?" He asks
"About last christmas i got my heart broken and i lost my bestfriend all in one night" i say sighing
"Ouch I'm sorry" he says
I shrug "i guess it happened for a reason i honestly don't know but I'm hoping this christmas will be different" i say smiling
He smiles and puts a hand on my shoulder "this may seem bold but would you like to get a hot chocolate?" He asks
"I gotta know your name first" i say smiling
"Kane, and yours?" He asks
I smile "kylie"
"Pretty name for a pretty little lady" he says smiling
I blush "your sweet"
"Thanks sugar i know a place that makes amazing hot chocolate" he says smiling
"Let's go" i say chuckling
*Lola's Place*
He holds the door for me i smile "thank you"
"No problem sugar" he says smiling
"Hello welcome to Lola's place I'm lola what would you like?" Lola asks
"We'd like 2 of your amazing hot chocolates" kane says smiling
"Sure kane, you guys can take a seat I'll get that right up" she beams
"Thanks lola" he says smiling
"Of course mr brown" she says leaving to the kitchen
[Hmm his last name is brown but there's no way he can be that one can he?]
He pulls my chair out for me i smile and sit down "thank you again kind sir" i say laughing at my old expression
He laughs and sits down "no problem kylie"
"Here the hot chocolate it's on the house" lola says smiling
"You sure?" I ask
"Of course miss" she says smiling
She leaves the kitchen
"Hey kylie!" Karla beams
"Hey karla, heading home from work?" I ask
"Yep oh I'm sorry hi I'm karla her roommate" karla says smiling
"Kane i caught you friend kylie before she fell" kane says smiling
"Oh thank you! Don't need her in bits" kylie jokes
We all laugh "your insane"
"Maybe but I'll see you at home yeah?" She asks
"Of course girl see you" i say smiling
We spend some more time talking and getting to know each other
"How old are you kylie?" He asks
"I'm 20 and you?" I ask
"I'm 21" he says smiling
"1 year older than me" i joke
He laughs "yep what kind of music do you like?" He asks
"I like country but i listened to different things mostly country" i say smiling
"I do too who's your favorite artist?" He asks
"I'd have to say kane brown he has good music, nice voice, not to mention he's really cute" i say smiling
He blushes and smiles "very interesting information miss kylie"
"I bet so kane" i say smiling
We soon leave he walks me home like a true gentleman
"Thanks for tonight it was amazing" i say smiling
He smiles "no problem, umm can i have your number so we can set our next hangout?" He asks
I smirk "oh so there is a next time?" I tease
He laughs "i-i-i didn't" he starts
I giggle "of course silly i wanted to mess with you a bit"
He smiles and i hand him my number
"I'll text you later yeah?" He asks
"Okay see you soon?" I ask
"Definitely" he says smiling then leaves
I head in and go straight upstairs to bed before karla begs for details
