After their brother died the fight between Amora and August grows bigger. After 9 years can they put it behind them even with their only personal issue
August POV It's been four days since Melvin died and today is his funeral. Me Amora, Travis and Albenia been sleeping on the floor of Melvin room cause that's the close thing to him. We were all getting dress Mel always said "when I died go to my funeral in red not black" so we each have atleast one thing of red on us.
Somebody knocked on my door and opened it
"You ready" Albenia said walking in with her outfit on already

"Mel really gone" Albenia said and I look at her
"Yea be we gon make it" I said while a tear slip from my eye and got in the car mane it's gon be a long day ___________________________ Amora POV On the way to the church the whole ride was quite Travis was driving due to my hands shake too bad to drive. Finally we pull up to the church we all got out and Albenia reach for my hand so I gave it to her
"It's okay Benia we got this" I said and felt her relief the weight on her shoulders
When we start walking up to the church and I realize that Travis and August arms where wrap around each other and August grab my hand. Walking without Melvin felt weird but that's life now.
When we walked in everybody started saying thing like "Long Live Mel" "Keep ya Head Up Apes" "It's okay babies" "InthanameofMel" that last one made me tense up.
Walking up to Mel Casket I felt like I should've be in one right next to him eventually we walked off and took our seat in front of his casket and the Pastor started talking. ___________________________ "We would now have some words from The Alsina Siblings" The Pastor said so Me,August,Travis and Albenia stood up and went to the stand Travis went first since he's the second oldest
"Take ya time baby" a familiar voice said I found them and it was Chris mom and then my eyes fell on chris then I look back at Travis.
"How y'all doing...umm I don't know how or what to say because I never thought I would be standing at a mic at my brothers funeral. Melvin was my brother I always expected him to be here even if it mean he was having a machine breath for him I always hope that he would always he would be here no matter what Love You Mel" Travis said and I look to the crown and saw some celebrities what they doing here ?
Than August was next "Hello I'm August the 2nd oldest if you didn't know Melvin to me was the best person I ever met he taught me the ropes of life and help me understand why I was here for a reason I'll love him forever because of that Love you Mel" August said
Than Albenia started talking "Um I'm Albenia I really don't have much to say cause I already said my peace to my brother I love you forever and don't forget that baby I'll never forget the things you taught me are how you love me Love you lil Ape"
Now it's my turn "My brother, my hero,my best friend Melvin Labranch you never said "I'm leaving" you never said goodbye. You were gone before I knew it, and no one knows quite why. In life, I loved you dearly in death I love you still. In my heart I hold a place that only you can fill and I know you're on a better place now Love You baby Boy Forever and after." ___________________________ Everybody from the funeral was in our backyard this was the repast
"Hey" I heard someone say it was Chris with his mom
"Hey" I said as a tear drop from my eye and was pulled into a hug by both of them. Life hit me to hard then Mel really gone Forever ___________________________ It was going on 7:00 Me Chris August Travis Chris Mom and Albenia were watching some videos Melvin used to record so we could look at them when we got older the good days. *Video* "Mane you slow" Travis said laughing "Shut up nigga" Melvin said "Y'all ain't fast then me tho" August said "Mane nigga yo breath faster than you skinny ass" Amora said "I love y'all man" Melvin said "We love you too Melly" Travis said *video ends* After seeing that video I broke down and walk out and Chris mom walk up too me
"Amora if you ever need help just call me understand" She said
"Thank you but I don't think we gon be in NOLA too long" I said
"What do you mean to much longer" Chris said walking in looking at me
"I mean I'm not going to be living here forever" I said ___________________________
