     The camera flicked on.

["Alright, its on. Don't worry, Natalie."
It sounded like Natalie was talking to herself from behind the camera, as she advanced into the forest. Trees loomed around her, blocking out the sunlight and casting heavy shadows onto the woodland floor. Even her breaths seemed shaky as leaves crunched underfoot, the occasional snap of a small twig making her yelp.
She had gone out in the middle if the day, though that was only a little reassuring, given the recent events.
What was she even looking for? What *was* there to look for? Perhaps she was looking for Jon, to try and see it for herself...
The trees around her looked familiar, and a small gasp escaped her mouth as she probably realized it too. She didn't have a flashlight this time to shine on the trees, but it was quite obvious; they were the ones that Jailen ran through. She took a step forward, the camera shaking in her hands as time seemed to slow around her.
     .
     .
     .
     Something behind her snapped.
Natalie shrieked, spinning around with the camera just fast enough to catch a glimpse of something blue. She gave a choked sob, before turning on her heel and running.
She ran through the woods for a solid five minutes, occasionally stumbling, but never failing to pick herself back up immediately. Was it even pursuing her? Was *that* what killed Jailen?
When the camera flicked back up from the ground, the town was in view.]

     The camera flicked off.
