Jack and Anna have been friends forever, but his feeling changed as she grew, he loved her but he knew he couldn't have her. She told him she loved him one day, he said he felt the same, he couldn't lie to her and say he never felt that way, it would crush her, he couldn't live with that, so he told her the truth, the whole truth. "Why? Can't we work it out?" "Anna please, I tried, there's nothing I can do. You have to be with someone like you, you might find someone at the ball and forget all about me." he laughed half heartedly, he didn't want her to forget but maybe it was best, but she didn't find it funny at the least, "I'll never forget you! Jack, you were there when no one else was, when no one cared!" "Anna I can't die! I'll live forever but you won't! You need to be with someone who will grow old and die with you, not some spirit who will stay like this forever and watch the one person he loves die and he can't do anything about it!" tears stung her eyes, he never yelled before, let alone at her, but he spoke truth and that's why she was really crying, she couldn't do anything either, "I'm just as powerless Jack! Do think this easy for me? I'm in love with a spirit who can't grow old and I'm a human who will die! Your not the only one who thought of it! I can't stop thinking about it, I wish you could grow old too, but this who you are! And I wish I could be like you, but this is who I am! Can't we at least be happy for a moment? Why can't we just feel normal for once!" she was right, so he did the one thing he's wanted to do for along time, he kissed her, it was harsh but that was because of all the emotion they were holding, when they broke apart Anna sobbed into his sweater and Jack just held her, whispering in her ear and stroking her head softly while the other arm was around her waist. Why did it have to come to this? Why did he have to get so attached? Why did he have to hurt her like this? Why did he ever come to Arendelle? Why? Why did he have to be immortal? Those questions were always left unanswered, no one knew why, it's just is as it is, and that's why he's in this mess, holding a beautiful crying girl that will grow old and die while he stays young and lives forever, but he had to let her go. Why was life so cruel?
