Son Chaeyoung is Now SINGLE

I walk back into my old apartment where I was staying with Mina. I can see the lights from where I was standing. I sigh and went inside the building across ours. I knock on the door I saw my friend Lisa opened the door. "Oh Chaeng why are you here?" She asked with a worried tone.

"Can I come in?" I asked Lisa, she moved aside and I walk into Rosé's house. I decided to sit on the couch and I stay like that for a minute or so. "Chaeng a penny for your thoughts?" Rosé asked. I didn't know she was already there.

"Can I stay here for a while? Mina and I broke up, I don't have a place to stay for a while" I said. Rosé and Lisa comforted me as soon as they hear what happened. "Tell us the whole story Chaeng" Lisa said while rubbing my back.

<]<]<] Flashback~

I was walking down the streets to meet Ryujin and Somi at the park. I saw Ryujin sitting on one of the bench there and Somi is not yet there. I sat next to her and greeted her with a smile. "Hey Ryujin. Somi said she's gonna be late." I said to her. "Don't worry I don't even expect her to be here either. I guess she can't bare looking and seeing me again" Ryujin said.

"Don't worry I am sure things will be okay between you two soon." I cheered her up. Ryujin and I catch up a bit while waiting for Somi but it's almost 9 and Somi didn't came yet Ryujin look at her watch. "Sorry Chaeyoung but I don't think I can wait for her. It's already late and I need to go back to my house and study for tomorrow" Ryujin apologized and she pat my back before leaving me alone in the bench its pretty dark now but good thing there is a lamp post beside the bench.

I suddenly saw Somi walking towards me not too long ago after Ryujin leave. I look back to see if I can call Ryujin to stay for a while but she is gone now. I look at Somi and she was crying. I stood up hugged her. I made her sit down and she leaned her head on my shoulders I caressed her back to comfort her atleast. I know what she is going through.

"I am sorry for lying. I've been here the whole time looking at the both of you from a far. I can't face her for now. It hurts me seeing her again." Somi cried more. I pat her back "I know, I know. Cry until you have no tears left I am here" I said to her. "You know I love her right? I never want to hurt her. I can't face her without even feeling guilty on what I did to her" Somi said sobbing.

"I know that is why you choose her over me. I am super jealous because you love her more than me! I mean we we're the original friends. We were bestfriends! Then you just choose her more than me!" I joked and pout. "But true thoughz I know how you love her but you just can't make your friend jealous. You two were always together I am always the third wheel" I said. Somi laughed remembering those memories whe have back then.

"I can't help it Chae. My heart screams her name. She is that building you see over there" she pointed at the building infront of me it is the talkest building here in Korea. "And you were like the size of an ant" she joked. I smiled at her. "I know. I remembered telling Ryujin that I got a crush on you  because you asked so just to make her jealous" We laughed together. "She still thinks its true though" Somi said I nodded remembering Mina's sulky face when she heard that Ryujin said Somi was here first love.

"Chaeyoung. I don't think we can be together again. The two of us will not work any more." Somi said with the tone of sadness present. "No Somi. We both know how much you love each other and I want you guys to be back together" I said. "I don't know if I moved on already. Can I try to kiss you Chaeng? Just to make sure of my feelings.... please?" Somi asked. "I-" Somi leaned and kiss me on my lips. I was shocked and I don't know what to do but I saw some figure on the side of my eye so I pulled out from the kiss. When I saw it's Mina I was frozen on my place and I don't know how to act.

I can saw the pain on her eyes and her tears forming on her ocean like eyes were sparkling like diamonds. It's precious and I don't want to waste them on something stupid. I need to do something. I tried to walk towards her but she run away. I follow her then she stopped from running after some discent steps and she look backa t me with those precious tears rolling down from her eyes. And then that time she decided to say those words I don't wnat to hear.

End of flashback~

"That's it then she just left and I-I can't- I don't know what to do now. It's hard for me to accept it but I am now single" I said with the fakest smile. Lisa and Rosé hugged me for a while then they both pull out. "You can stay here for tonight Chaeng since its already late but I don't have extra room and Lisa is living here with me so you can stay at the couch for tonight." Rosé said. I smiled at her. "Stay at Ryujin's house. I heard she is living near the school so." Lisa said. I nodded and give them a warm smile.

"Can I borrow some clothes I don't think I can go to my apartment yet." I said and they nodded. Rosé handed me a simba pajamas then they went to their room and sleep. For me I don't think I can sleep yet. I am heartbroken and devastated too much pain for me to sleep yet. It would be a long and lonely night for me and a painful day tomorrow.
