2:00pm on a Friday afternoon

"Milani someone is here for you." yelled my aunt Lisa. Sounds like she's downstairs. I looked at my phone seeing what time it is. I yelled "Ok" than got up out of the bed.

I walked to the top of the stairs and bend down to see who it was. Nariah was standing by the door with Hallie. I came down the stairs and said "Hey, y'all can come upstairs."

They followed me as we went to my room. Hallie shut the door and they sat on my personal couch that was in my room. "Hold on one second" I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth, washed my face etc.

We was basically relaxing in my room. I gave them snacks, extra covers I had, extra pillows etc. I'm guessing they're spending the night because they both packed a bag full of items.

Nariah said "You saw ole dude after the party." I said looking at her, "No I actually forgot to call him." She shook her head and Hallie was laying across the couch. We was just chopping it up, having a girls day at my house.

Quentin: Wassup babygirl? I ain't received an call yesterday. You must was having fun with your friends. 3:09pm

I was putting makeup on until I received a text from someone I grabbed my phone and looked.

Me: I forgot. I apologize, I was out and about with my friends but hey. 3:10pm

Hallie was flat ironing her hair, Nariah was doing her hair and I'm almost done putting my makeup on. We all decided to go to the movies today. Hallie suggested to bring our boo's but I told her 'I don't have that'.

Nariah said "You can tell that boy to be your date. I'm bring Kavion from our school, we been talking on the low. I just haven't made it official yet."

I gasped looking through the mirror at her, "You said you was looking for a boyfriend at the party yesterday." She rolled her eyes sarcastically, "Don't take me serious na." Hallie said "I'm bring my boyfriend Amier."

Me and Nariah turned around fast then looked at her, "What's his last name?" We both said at the same time. She looked at us crazy, "Simpson" I busted out laughing.

Nariah froze and said "Oh my god, You the one that was at my brother house." Hallie said "Hmph, I figured that was you. I was thinking in my head the whole time like.. 'this girl look so much like him'.

Quentin: It's cool babygirl. I enjoyed yesterday with you, we need to kick it again. You was nervous, I'm sorry for making you feel that way. 3:40pm

Me: It's okay. I was gonna ask you if you still want to see a movie? I'm going with my friends, but their bring somebody. Pretty much not trying third wheel lol. 3:41pm

He texted me back instantly.

Quentin: Yea I ain't doing nothing right now. When you trying go, and you need me to come scoop you? 3:42pm

Me: We're going at 5pm, you can pick me up. I don't feel like driving today. See you soon! 😌 3:44pm
