What about your mom?" Cheryl ask walking down the street Lucy beside her.

"She's a drug attic and just got 10 years in prison." Lucy says calmly staring at the sidewalk ahead.

"Are you okay I know that has to be difficult," Cheryl sighs looking at one of her best friends.

"If I'm honest I'm more than okay, and that's the problem. Who wants there mom to rot in prison? I'm messed up." Lucy says running a shaky hand through her hair.

"Not necessarily, what happened between you two?"

"When I was six my mother got into drugs, after my dad died. She got in with the wrong crowd and started selling drugs" Lucy says with a shaky breath. "One day she laced this guys drugs so he decided he wanted his money back at the time I was twelve so I was watching my little brother who was two. My mom was out doing god knows what when they broke in." Lucy says a single tear falling down her cheek.

"I tried to keep them away from Lucas I did, but one of the guys pushed him to hard and he hit his head on the coffee table. When I went to go see if he was okay the other man um, he uh." Lucy was crying full tears at this point.

Cheryl decided she didn't need her to tell the rest so she grabbed her arm and pulled her into her arms letting the girl cry on her shoulder her arms wrapping tightly around her.

Veronica was  the shower when Lauren was in there room writing some songs. She was playing her guitar when Veronica's phone started going off.

At first she ignored it but it kept beating sos he got up to silence it when she read the name of the messages.

Betty: come on you know you enjoyed last night

Betty: come on please tell me your not with your fiancé right now.

Lauren bites her lip looking up to Veronica who looked at her with expressionless eyes.

"Why?" Lauren said in a breathless voice.

"It's not what it looks like I swear-" Veronica tries.

"Was I not enough, did I do something wrong?" Lauren asked simply tears swelling her eyes.

"No baby it's -"

"It's what Veronica? You kissed her in our fucking house I let it slide, you called her to set things straight and i let it slide. But this," Lauren shakes her head grabbing her jacket.

"This Just hurst Ronnie" Lauren said calmly before leaving the apartment.

Toni was on the couch of Cheryl's apartment Jason in the room with Layla getting her to fall asleep when she heard a light knock on the door.

She gets up wondering who it was since Cheryl texted her she won't be back til later. She opens the door revealing Lauren with makeup running down her face and a red nose.

"Lauren what's wrong?" Toni asked stepping aside so she could come in.

"Veronica- Betty and her- I think we aren't getting married." Lauren sobs out Toni pulling her in her arms letting her space her shirt as Toni ran a hand through her hair her chin resting on her head.

"I love her Toni" she said while crying.

"I know laur" Toni said sadly.

Veronica sat on their bed with tears falling down her cheek.  As she stared at the picture of when Lauren asked her marry her.

It wasn't what Lauren thought.

They didn't do anything, but that didn't mean she wasn't catching feeling for Betty again. It was different and hard to explain.

Right now veronica didn't have anyone other than Betty. Cheryl is with lucy , Toni most likely with Lauren. Who did she have? No one but Betty cooper.
