The sun has already set, bringing out the stars while Jinho and Wooseok makes their way to the party. Both of them were at the back seat, soft tunes playing on the radio. The scenery outside the car was not that busy, which is a surprise knowing it was probably the time when people go home. As much as how calming it is, there is a very awkward amount of space in between Wooseok and Jinho.

Wooseok was squishing himself on the other side of the car while Jinho was sitting quite elegantly like always, like when was he not elegant??? The distance between them was like one foot or so and it was beginning to feel empty. Wooseok hates these types of car rides, it brings an unsettling feeling. Only if he can get a little bit closer. One solution, communication.

"Mr. Jo, are we almost there?" He ask as he moves in his seat, trying to be comfortable and a tad bit closer to Jinho. Jinho just hummed, 'wat da fricc is dat suppose to mean?'. Another try,

"Is it really that far?" Another hum is used as a response.

"Are you okey?" And another hum. 'Oh. He's nervous' Silence is how Jinho shows that he's nervous, or more likely that is how he acts when he's nervous. Instead of blabbering non-stop, he stays quiet, not letting out a single word. How does Wooseok knows? Well, he's like that too. Wooseok is a talker, but when he feels nervous, he doesn't talk, afraid that his words alone will make the feeling worst. He finds it better to just keep the words inside and not let it out, not like people would care and listen.

It's mostly doubt that he would say something wrong and make the tension higher. He doubts his own words, as if he were to drop the incorrect one, it will explode. There's only one thing that comforts him when he's nervous, and that is affection. Most of the time he just really needs someone to hold his hand, just hold it, no more words. And hopefully that will make Jinho less nervous like how it works on him.

He scoots really close to Jinho, leaving no space in between. Jinho looks at him, eyes furrowed, showing that he is both confused and bothered. But Wooseok ignored the negative reaction Jinho gave and continued to put an arm around his shoulder, and the other hand quickly yet gently took a hold of Jinho's small one. Jinho's bitter expression ceased and he was now trying to hold back a smile.

"Mr. Jung, what are you doing." Jinho asked, a bit bashful with the gesture. Wooseok gently pushed Jinho's head to lay on his shoulder and started rubbing circles with his thumb on the back of his boss's small hands (read: Wooseok's hand devoured Jinho's).

Smirking, he plainly said, "I'm acting like your boyfriend." Jinho erupted a short yet sincere laugh, something that Wooseok haven't heard before. It made Wooseok's heart flutter, he feels proud for making Jinho feel some sort of happiness. "Well, I have to say, you're doing a great job."

Wooseok was happy, he feels like a puppy being praised for doing something good. If he had a tail it would be wagging. Jinho's driver was a bit puzzled as he looked weirdly at the two through the mirror. Jinho took notice of this and said that he doesn't need to worry by raising a hand and waving it back and fort reassuringly, showing one of his softest smiles. Understanding the signal, the driver nodded and focused his eyes on the road.

"So, are you... like, nervous or anything." Wooseok begins to ask.

"About what?"

"About going to the party and the Chinese dude." He said with a very hush tone, his touch on the smaller beginning to be softer. Jinho made an audible 'hm', as if in thought, which he was.

"I wouldn't call it nervous, it's more of... being worried." Wooseok scrunched up his nose and squinted his eyes. He took a glance at the latter next to him.
