Name: Aribos, from the Philippine "Araw=Sun" and "Ibon=Bird.
Diet: The mighty Aribos's diet consist of "flashbugs," and "carion" mostly, but will settle with other "neopterons" and the "fruits" of the trees from Time to time.
Behavior: They are aggressive and attack even tigrex to get them out of their territory, they are the first small monster that has been sighted killing large monsters, and for this, they are respected and revered amongst local Felynians.
Physiology: Their hide is white, accented by gold-ish brown markings, there wings are lined with blue scales that resemble the tzitzi-ya-ku's flash scales. Their beak and legs are a silver-ish blue, and whilst they only have four toes they have a fifth retractable claw on their middle toe. At the end of each wing, they gave three others which can move independently and are used to steer and change directions quickly.
Biology: their scales on the bottom of their body can detect the color pigment of what's above them, thanks to their white upper hide, they use this to change the color pigment of their scales to basically turn invisible to any Creature bellow them. They will also brighten their scales to flash any prey or predators so they can either eat or run away from the flashed target. They use their retractable claws to try to grab prey, they'll then retract it to bing them closer and once they grab them, they'll extend the claw again to impale them, they also are great for picking up twigs to build nest for their chicks. They form a symbiotic relationship with Sinbuwa on hunts. Too not get eaten, they will flash their scales in different colors to amaze the Sinbuwa first, than fly on their back and eat the parasites on them before they arrive at the hunting target in which they will hunt it together. The only predators that can consistently eat the Aribos are the clever king of the sky's, Rathalos, and the elder dragon master of illusions, Chameleos.
Attacks: They often blind their targets by skewering their eyes and than spin around while holding their eye sockets to snap their necks, but these are the attacks they will use against you.
1- they will pick up they hunter and throw them le a Rathalos.
2-They will unleash a flash to blind the hunter and than pin them with one wing before repeatedly kicking and scratching them.
3- they will fly sideways and "cloak" appearing invisible, they will then fly behind you and dive bomb to try and bite you with their beak.
