The Second Me That No One Sees

First day at the new school

  I woke up that morning stretching everything, but I really didn't want to get up.  But then I realized what today was... The first day of school!!!!! YAY as much as I was excited, I was also nervous, what if people will figure out my secret?  I got dressed and went downstairs where my mother awaited me to a delicious eggs benidect, when she saw me coming she was smilling and she asked me, "are you ready for the first day of your school!"

      I smiled and nodded yes.  But I told her that I'm very nervous. She said " keep them tucked in"

"But mom u know I wanna... You, know what to school" I told her.

"No, that's how you got caught last year" she told me.

  "fine I said, i'll just walk there." I said.

I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door. 

    When I got down the street a ways till my mom couldn't see me.  Then I started full sprint... Opened up my wings and jumped into the air and flapped my wings really hard to elevate myself so I could fly.  I didn't know how I came to being able to fly it just happed I think I was born with it but anyway.  When I got to school I landed behind it so no one wouldn't see me.  Then walked to the front to go inside.  The school was huge like 2 times bigger than my old school.  I loved it.  I went to my homebase class and took a seat.  But there were three girls who came over and the leader of the group said "um, like... What are you doing in my seat?"

  Both girls added "yeah like what are you doing in Chelsie's seat"

"I-I-I didn't know I'm new." I told them.

"Well now your like, not so now you know and now you need to get out of my seat... Now!!". Chelsie said in a mean voice. Rolling her eyes as she sat down.  I saw them wispering and looking over at me and making dirty faces at me.  I just sat at a new seat putting my head down.  And started to cry.   Suddenly a boy sat down next to me, oddly very attrackting, but I figured he was popular and was probly already Chelsie's boy.  So I just laid my head down quietly before the tardy bell rang for class to start.  The teacher came over and reexplained everthing over to me.  Even though I understood completely I sware its like they think you have never been to school before. The rest of the day went smoothly until Life Ed which Chelsie matter of factly showed up and the rainbow of dreams splattered to the ground.  When I sat down at the same seat I sat in after Chelsie moved me, but her and her "crew" told me to move again to another seat!  I was getting real sick of it and told her "no" she was not happy about that. 

"What did you say?"

"I said no."

"Who does this chick think she is?"

"I'm Emily Dawbson and I say, you can't just have your way all the time I'm a person too and I might not be all popular as you I still have all the same rights as you do so, so... So, back off!" I said standing out of my seat confidant.  And as I stood she opened her mouth in awe and pushed me down, she sat in my seat and slid my stuff on my chest.  The next thing I know is I wake up and I'm in the nurses office. 

"W-what am I doing here?" I asked the jolly looking lady in scrubs.

"Well I'm afraid that when Chelsie pushed you down you got knocked out, and so some people brought you in to see me" the nurse said. 

"But now that you woke up you can go home, even though its not the end of the day yet". She told me.  As much as I loved my new home I wanted to stay for the whole day. 

"No, please, ma'am I want to stay for the rest of the day. You see its my first day at this school and I really want to stay, please.". I told her.

"I'm afraid that that's not possible you have to go home and rest you have a concussion and cannot do any physical activities whatsoever." She stated.

"I'm sorry honey but its for the best"

"OK I guess I can accept that.  What happend to Chelsie?"

"Well,  she got OSS because she hurt you and it's against the rules,  so it was a right up, and her parents said that she needs to apologize to you."

After that my mom came and picked me up and we headed home till the boys came home from their first days at school.
