I awoke with a start. It was all a dream, it hadn't been real. I sighed with relief and wiped cold sweat off my forehead. It had been so real, so...Words couldn't describe how I had felt. I felt as if it were all real, like I belonged there....
No,I pushed those thoughts out of my mind. You are a fatherless child. Your dad left you years ago. Besides, castles like that don't exist. "Or does it?" I asked no one in particular; probably just myself. My thoughts were interrupted by Mother swinging open my door. She wasn't drunk, thank god, but she had a hangover, definitely. "Get up, ya little brat! Time for you to get outta my hair." I maneuvered out of bed and headed towards the bathroom. As sure as I thought, barf filled my toilet. I wrinkled my nose and took a 5-minute shower. I put on a black Paramore t-shirt, black skinny jeans, black hi-tops, and my usual dark red hoodie. I guess you could call me emo, but I don't use titles.
I headed out the door and began my walk to school. When I trudged through crunchy snow, I became confused. Last I recalled, it was blistering hot. But that was your dream, that ever-so-annoying voice sang.I glared at my forehead. Shut yer yappy mouth! I commanded.I don't have a mouth! I WIN!!!! it yelled. No. I win. You wanna know WHY???? I asked my conscience. Why?
"BECAUSE I HAVE A MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I shouted. OUT LOUD. A young girl about fifteen turned to look at me. She looked a little familiar.
