'What is happening?'

Uraraka Ochaco is currently in the bathroom on the floor, traumatized from what was happening to her right now before her very eyes.

'Flower petals...?'

But why were flower petals coming out of her mouth? Ochaco coughed out more petals as they slowly fell to the floor by her knees. She had a feeling she knew what this was.. The Hanahaki disease; the disease in which you would cough up flower petals if an unrequited love is formed. The disease continues to spread throughout your lungs and the only recovery is to either get surgery or the person loves you back. And the only one she loves is-

'Deku... Does he not realize my feelings for him...?'

Ochaco decided to visit Recovery Girl; maybe she can help under these circumstances. Making her way to the infirmary Ochaco greeted herself inside.

"Hey Recovery Girl! I have a question.."

Recovery Girl smiled at the young girl and turned her chair to face the student. "What do you need sweetheart? Are you injured? Don't seem like it."

"Actually.. How do you cure flower petals from coming out of your mouth?"

This caught the healing hero off guard. She got up from her swivel chair and walked up to Ochaco, grabbing her by the hand and guided her to an empty bed urging the young girl to sit down. Ochaco just obliged and followed what she was supposed to do.

"Cough for me." Recovery Girl got a napkin and held it out for Ochaco. Coughing into the napkin she felt the petals tickling her throat as they came up. Pulling back to show what came up she saw Recovery Girl's reaction and it was not good. Her heart slumped a bit as she heard the news.

"Just as I expected. You're suffering from the Hanahaki Disease.. Do you know the options of getting rid of it and the consequences?"

Ochaco nodded her head. She was told of what to take in case she was ever struck with the disease. But she was never told or heard of any consequences; she thought any disease can be cured.

"Consequences?"

"You don't know? If your feelings aren't returned then surgery is your last option. If you get the surgery then all your memories of loving that person will disappear; you will die if you take no action Ochaco."

A lump developed in her throat and it wasn't the flower petals. So this was actually happening... Without a second word Ochaco ran out of the infirmary. This cannot happen.. This just can't!!! She has to find Deku and talk to him.
