Nightmare Frights

Dr. Wolf peacefully slept on the couch. He snored as Usagi walked by him. Usagi chuckled and covered him up with a blanket.

Dr. Wolf groaned and tossed to the side.

"Aw, Dr. Wolf looks so cute when he's sleeping." Said Ikuko.

Usagi agreed. "Yeah. He sure does." She noticed the staff and touched it. "It's amazing our guest here has awesome powers."

"I know. Dr. Wolf's been so nice to us ever since he arrived." Said Luna and nuzzled Dr. Wolf's hand. "He even has these supernatural powers."

Usagi smiled and rubbed Dr. Wolf's cheek. She got up and looked at her plate. It had eggs and bacon. "Breakfast time!"

Luna watched as Usagi walked over to the table and started to eat. She looked at Dr. Wolf.

Sweat ran down Dr. Wolf's face. He tossed and turned in his sleep, whimpering. He shot up, gasping for air.

Luna hopped on Dr. Wolf's lap, worried. "Doc, are you alright? You were tossing and turning."

Dr. Wolf shook his head. "No. I'm fine. I was just having a nightmare." He said and wiped off the sweat off his face.

Usagi took a bite of her eggs. "What kind of nightmare were you having?"

Dr. Wolf blushed. "I don't want to talk about it." He said and covered his face.

"Come on. You can tell us anything." Said Usagi and caressed Dr. Wolf's head.

Dr. Wolf looked away, feeling sad. "I... I'll talk about it later. Right now, I just want to be alone." He got up and walked upstairs.

Usagi clenched her shirt as she watched Dr. Wolf go up the stairs. "Doc..."

Dr. Wolf entered his room, closed the door behind him and plopped onto his bed. He looked at his clock and started to drift back to sleep.

In his dream, Dr. Wolf ran down the street where Usagi's house was. He looked behind him and continued to run.

A loud howl broke the street lamps and Dr. Wolf rushed behind a building. He panted and covered his mouth. A low growl went by and Dr. Wolf closed his eyes tightly. He uncovered his mouth and listened. No growling.

Dr. Wolf sighed and pulled on his fur. "Wake up, wake up. I can't stay in this nightmare."

Suddenly, the building was smashed to pieces. Dr. Wolf gasped and fell to the ground. In front of him, was a dark version of himself. It gave off a negative aura.

Dr. Wolf crawled backward, backing himself up to a wall. He whimpered as the dark figure raised it's sword and slashed down.

Dr. Wolf opened his eyes and screamed. He stopped, panting heavily.

Usagi burst into the room. "Doc, are you okay? I heard screaming." She walked over to Dr. Wolf and sat down on the bed. "Please, tell us what's going on. We can't help if you don't tell us."

Dr. Wolf took a deep breath and sighed. "I've been having nightmares for months. I keep seeing a dark version of myself destroying my home and Tokyo." Tears rolled down his cheeks. "I'm scared of becoming evil and I can't stop it. I try to brush it off like it's no big deal, but it is."

Usagi hugged Dr. Wolf. "Doc, I know how that feels. I became evil once, believe me, I did a lot of bad things." She kissed Dr. Wolf's head. "But, my friends brought me back to the light and I forgot about the past of my mistakes."

Dr. Wolf sniffed. "But, I don't know how to stop this evil from taking over. What if it's waiting for the right moment to take over and I won't be able to stop it?" He lied his head against Usagi's shoulder. "What will happen then?"

Usagi clenched Dr. Wolf. "I don't know. But if it does happen, my friends and I will be there to break you from that darkness."

"You promise?" Asked Dr. Wolf and wiped his tears.

Usagi kissed Dr. Wolf's cheek, making him blush. "I promise. I won't let it happen to you."

Dr. Wolf smiled and closed his eyes, seeing the dark version of himself for a quick second. He gasped and clenched his fist. "Usagi, can you defeat this nightmare of mine?"

Usagi looked at Luna. "Is it possible, Luna? Can I really go into Dr. Wolf's dream and defeat this nightmare of his?"

"It may be possible, but yes. You can go inside Dr. Wolf's dream and defeat this darkness that is waiting to emerge from his body." Said Luna. "Go grab your Moon Rod. Once you defeat the darkness inside him, you will return back here."

Usagi nodded and ran to her room to grab her Moon Rod. Once she returned she transformed into Sailor Moon and was transported into Dr. Wolf's dreamscape.

Sailor Moon looked around. The dreamscape was covered in black as if it was tar. She gulped and saw the dark version of Dr. Wolf way in front of her.

Sailor Moon called out to it. "Hey, leave this dreamscape! You giving my friend nightmares!"

The darkened wolf figure turned it's head and lunged at Sailor Moon. It lashed it's sharp teeth at her. Sailor Moon managed to dodge and duck behind a trash can.

"You have to stop this! Dr. Wolf can't save our world with you running around in his mind!" Said Sailor Moon. She poked her head out. "And it's time for you to leave! Moon Healing Escalation!" Sailor Moon pointed the Moon Rod at the dark wolf and blasted a light towards it.

The dark wolf disappeared and Usagi started to disappear. Before she could, she caught a glimpse of Dr. Wolf's pony friends and smiled.

Dr. Wolf groaned and rose from the bed. He looked at Sailor Moon. "Did you get rid of it?"

Sailor Moon nodded. "Yes. It's gone so you don't turn evil."

Dr. Wolf smiled and hugged Sailor Moon. "Thank you."
