Chapter 6: Back in Action

  "A mission?  Well, where are the other Operators?"  I ask Harry.  He looks at his paper.
"Well, you are good at what you do, but I don't want other operators getting in the mix.  You will be sent to 4 locations, all of which are White Mask bases, for the time being.  The first is a farmhouse turned base in Oregon.  The second is a base in the Middle East.  The third is a Villa in Italy.  The fourth is a Museum Tower in South Korea.  Your objective for all of these locations will be to kill all White Masks, and steal their Intel.  Do I make myself clear?  No survivors, unless you want or need to interrogate them.  You get shipped out to Oregon in 2 days.  Dismissed."  He tells me.  I am in shock.  Why me?
"H-how long will this mission take?"  I ask him. 
"That, Logan, is hard to say.  At minimum, it should take 1 or maybe 2 months.  But, if you are fast, you can be done within 1 month or less."  He tells me.
"Okay, thank you sir."  I say to him, salute, and grab the papers off his desk.  Oh man, is a certain someone gonna be mad.  I head to Twitch and I's dorm, and knock on the door.  "Hey, Emma?  It's Logan.  I have some news."  I say as the door opens.  I see Twitch and her friends watching a movie.  I think it's called The Conjuring.  I sit on my bed and read the papers. 
"What is that?"  Asks Ash.  I look up at her.
"This is the news I need to share with Emma."  I tell her.  The movie gets paused.
"We're listening,"  She says while turning around.  "What's up?"  She asks me.  I sigh and look towards her. 
"I'm gonna be shipped out to Oregon, the Middle East, Italy and South Korea for a mission that will take about a month or so."   I tell her.  I wince as she yells.
"WHAT!?  WHY ARE YOU GOING ALONE!?"  She yells.  I don't like that she yelled at me, but I will keep my cool. 
"I know, I know.  I'm pretty pissed off to.  But it has to be done.  I'm sorry."  I tell her.  I see she is about to cry.  "I am getting shipped out in 2 days."  I tell her. 
"B-but you're going alone?  No medic or anything?  What if you get shot?  Or even killed?  Who is going to bring back the news?"  She asks me. 
"Well, that isn't gonna happen.  And if it does happen, you won't have to deal with my face everyday.  Heh, heh."  I tell her, trying to lighten the mood.  It doesn't work.  She sits down next to me. 
"Let's just enjoy the time we have.  Watch the movie with us.  It is really spooky."  She says.  I shrug.
"Ah, what the hell!"  I say and sit on the couch.

The next morning I wake up on the couch for some reason, with Twitch sleeping on my shoulder.  I yawn and stretch, after carefully getting her off of me, and realize that almost all of the the female operators sleeping somewhere in the room.  I shrug and go into the bathroom to get washed up.  I put on a muscle shirt, cargo shorts, and my combat boots, and I style my hair to make it look good for my last day.  I decide to go for a little workout before I leave, and later I'll work on my guns and gadget to make sure they are good to go, and organize my gear and stuff.  I walk out of the bathroom, seeing some of the operators still sleeping.  But a few of them are up, staring at me.  "Uh, hi girls?" I say to them, and the look away and giggle.  I decide to ignore it and I grab my phone and Galaxy buds for my workout.  I see a few of the male operators like Buck and Blackbeard, but no sign of Mozzie or Glaz, which is disappointing.  I decide to keep heading over to the gym anyway, hopefully finding some other operators there.  When I open the doors, I see Mike (Thatcher) and Seamus (Sledge) trying to push Mark (Mute) to lift more weights, and I see Oliver (Lion) lifting weights with Jordan (Thermite) and I head over by them.  "Hey Oliver! Hey Jordan!" I say to them, Jordan not looking up but Lion putting the weights down.

"Hey, Logan!  How are you doing?" He asks me, and I start to put my stuff down and I sit on the bench.

"Oh, you know.  I guess pretty average,"  I say to him, putting my left earbud in and playing music.  "Just came here to get a little work out."  I say, lying on my back and starting with a few reps.

TIMESKIP - 1 HOUR

After about 1 hour of working out, I stop working out and go back to my dorm.  I decide to get into the shower quick, but I see that Emma's friends are there still.  They all look at me when I walk in, and then they start giggling.  I ignore them, and continue to get a new shirt and cargo pants and underwear.  When I get out of the shower and get dressed and style my hair, I see a few of them leaving.  But IQ, Ela and Ash stay.  I put on my Avenged Sevenfold t-shirt and I put on my Linkin Park sweatshirt (the same one that he wore in chapter 4) that is all stitched up.  As I put them on, I see them all blushing.  "Alright, what is it?"  I say as I zip up the sweatshirt.  They all look at each other and I put my phone in my pocket and sit down.
