(Gold's POV)

I went back to the bench I sat on before the events of Team Rocket. 

Manaphy is sitting on my shoulder.

I take Pich out of its Pokeball and it sits on my head.

I take out the small picture of me and my mother out of my bag.

Tears start forming. I haven't cried in years. One tear comes out but I wipe the rest out of my eyes.

I hold the picture tight to my chest and close my eyes.

Manaphy and Pich try comforting me.

My life was already hard enough for me. My dad left and I never experienced a fatherly - relationship.

"Are you okay?" I look up to see a boy wearing a light blue sweater, red cap, and gray pants.

I quickly place the picture back into my bag.

I mouth, "I'm fine!"

"No offense but are you mute?"

Then, a girl starts running up to us. She's wearing jean shorts, a black, sleeveless, opened shirt and a cap.

"Black!" She says, "You don't have to say that!"

"What?" The boy named Black says, "I said 'no offense'!"

I tap Black's shoulder. He looks at me and I nod.

"Wait," The girl says, "you are?"

I nod.

I mouth slowly, "My vocal cords got poisoned and I had to get them removed or it would spread to the rest of my body."

"My name's White. What's your name?" The girl says.

I mouth, "Gold!"

Then I hear someone else's voice, "Hey, Gold!" It sounds like... oh no.

I stand up to see Green and Blue standing in front of the Viridian Gym.

I ran to the route ahead of Viridian City. Pich and Manaphy are holding on tight.

"Wait!" Blue says.

I keep running until I end up in a forest.

Aw, dang it! I went into the wrong direction! Now I'm in Route 1!!

I ran until I got to Pallet Town.

Why couldn't I just hid behind some tree?

I was in the middle of Pallet, trying to catch my breath.

Then, all of my fellow dex holders exit Red's house.

Why is it always Red's house?

They stop walking when they see me.

I look behind me to see Blue and Green. Then the people from earlier appear behind them.

"Gold!" Blue says, "Please listen! We've all lost something!"

I mouth to Blue, "Any of you called an orphan now?"

"Gold," Crys says, "don't say that!"

I point to Silver and mouth, "The Team Rocket Executives killed her!"

Everyone is surprised.

"FATHER DID THIS?" Silver yells.

I wait for Silver to look at me. When he does, I mouth, "Giovanni had nothing to do with this! The Team Rocket Executives are hiding it from him!"

"But..." Emerald says, looking at me, "why are you running away."

I avoid eye contact with anybody.

"I'm useless." I mouth, "I can't save those I love!"

Ruby yells, "You're not!"

"Oh yeah!" I mouth, "I'm a good punching bag for you guys!"

Everyone gasps at the words I'm saying. I will be honest, I never said anything like this before.

I mouth, "I'm leaving!"

"To where?" Red asks.

I continue to avoid eye contact.

That's when I snap my fingers and point to the ground.

Pich uses Thundershock around us and smoke appears.

I hear everyone cough but I run back to Viridian Forest.

I don't know what to do though. I run until I get to the Pokemon League.
