Does caring for someone mean giving your all?

Does my not been able to say no to a friend make me a true friend?

Many times I sit down and ponder, will it be worth it at the end?

I don't actually believe in having a friend that will last a lifetime, well except for spouse, I believe at some point in life the purpose of a person (friend) in your life will be done and then you have to let it go.

But during the person's time in your life, will all the sacrifices you made be worth it at the end?

Am just saying.....
