Jack rushes to Allen's side.
"Allen," he said as he leaned over him. They see tears running down his face. Allen looks at him and grabs his hand. "Does it hurt?"
"It does..." Allen said reaching for air.
"We need to help him," Jack screamed to Constance and Regina who were standing by, looking shocked. Constance stepped closer to Allen.
"It's a risk, but if we're able to get him through the portal, when we get back we can help him," Regina suggests. Jack can barely speak. He hugs Allen.
"Okay," Jack replies. "It's going to be okay Allen... We're going to help you. I'm going to help you," he says, his voice shaking. Allen nods with the little strength he has left. There's a pause.
"It's going to be alright, Jack. You can..." Allen stutters. "You can do this without me. I know I never told you, and this may not be the best time for it..." am I really going to tell him, Allen thought. "But, I love you," Jack looks at him. "I... I had to tell you now, because I may have never gotten to," he says smiling while tears run down his face from the pain.
"Stop it. Don't say that. You're going to live, you don't need to rush to the end." Jack looks at him, panicked, his eyes rimmed with red. "I do too," Jack says giving Allen a smile, his cheeks turning red. "We just, we just need to get you help now."
"I um..." Constance says staring at them. Remembering that they have to go right now Constance reminds them of the situation they're in. "Um... we have to go, Jack," she looks at him.
Jack looks up and nods.
He looks back at Allen. "I'm... um... I'm going to pick you up and we're going to go through the portal, okay?" Jack said cautiously, not wanting to hurt him.
"Okay," Allen replies staring into Jack's desperate eyes.
Constance and Regina headed towards the water to jump in. They looked at each other, thinking back. They stepped onto the rim of the boat, grabbing onto the rails next to them. They attempt to stabilize themselves.
"On three," Regina said staring at Constance.
"On three."
"1," they say together.
"2," Constance stares down at the water.
"3." They jump into the water, making a splash. Jack looks towards the area where they just jumped from.
He then comes towards the edge of the ship holding Allen. He has to be careful, not wanting Allen to drown. He holds onto him tighter and grabs his hand. Jack stares around, putting one foot where they had stood. He jumps, holding onto Allen, scared to lose him and he knows that he can't. He can't lose him.
