Amelia looked between the two. Black Canary and The Jester. It was like looking at Dinah from the past. They were almost identical minus some features. Jesse tilts her head then crosses her arms, "So we share the same powers?"

"More like the same DNA." Batman says as he walks through a zeta tube that was in the Arrow Cave. Robin followed behind sighing in relief when he saw Amelia standing there. Jessica looked over at Batman with a smirk.

"So she's my mother? My sister? That's funny!" Jesse started laughing, but stopped when no one joined in. She looked over at Black Canary who was staring at her with soft eyes. She then looked over at Batman.

"Who is she to me?" Jesse asked and Amelia could see her breathing start to increase. Black Canary moved closer to her then rested a hand on her shoulder.

"Sixteen years ago, I gave birth to a baby girl, but I couldn't raise her with the life I lived so I gave her away. That was you Jester. I'm your mother." Jesse looked up at her and for a moment you could see love flash in her eyes before it was replaced by anger.

"How could you! Because of you I was tortured! I was abused! I was a experiment!" She yells pushing Dinah away. Amelia held onto her best friend's arm to try to calm her down. Amelia knew what would happen when Jessica got really really angry.

"I'm sorry! If I'd know what happened I would have found you!" Black Canary pleads as tears fell down her cheeks. Oliver rested his hands on her shoulders for support.

"How could you? I needed you and you gave me away!" Amelia looked down at her neck seeing green veins creeping up her best friend. She began to panic trying to calm her friend. Batman also took note of this and disappeared into the shadows.

"Jesse, please calm down." Amelia pleaded when the veins reached her eyes. Jesse eyes turned a bright green, but before anything could happen a hand covered her nose. Jesse struggled against Batman's hold before she passed out. Amelia saw red as she unfurled her whip, "Let her go!" She yells lunging for Batman.

Robin kicks her before she could touch him and she crashes into a wall. Amelia pushes herself up glaring at her crush then she starts running at him. Oliver not wanting his cave even more messed up hit Amelia with a dart knocking her out cold.

"You really think bringing them to the WatchTower was the right move?" A voice breaks through Amelia's sleep. She opens her eyes then cringes from the brightness of the room she was in. She looked over seeing a man wearing a bright red suit with a lighting bolt on his chest.

The Flash.

"We heavily sedated Jester, just until we are certain we can control her abilities." That was Batman. She sat up clutching her head then rubs the spot where she was shot. She looked around until her eyes landed on her best friend who was still down. Both of her hands were cuffed to the bed.

Amelia tried to move, but found herself cuffed as well. She glared at Batman who returned her look with a one void of emotion. She could see Robin behind him typing away on a computer. He glanced over at the white haired girl then looks away when he sees a glare.

"Let us go." She growls tugging on the cuffs. They weren't regular cuffs that she could easily pick her way out of. These were meta cuffs. Designed to keep MetaHumans from using their powers. She was powerless, but the League wasn't taking any risks when it came to these two.

"Once we have all the data we need, I'm taking you back to your mother." Batman says as he sets a glass of water down next to Amelia. She rolls her eyes then leans against the bed she was in. She used her free uncuffed hand to grab the water and drink.

"Yeah, return me to my mother who only cares for me as her tool."

Batman raises a brow sitting down in the chair next to her bed. Why was there even a chair next to her bed? Amelia watched him carefully then sets the glass of water down.

"It may have seemed like my mother loved me, but I was nothing more than her tool, and her get out of jail card."

Selina had just set young Amelia in the grocery cart then when the cost was clear she looks at her with a different look. Less loving.

"How much?" She asks holding out her palm. The young girl fished through her pockets until she pulled out two quarters. Selina's jaw clenched as she looked at Amelia with a disappointing gaze. She'd spent hours upon hours teaching her daughter how to pickpocket properly, and this was all she could get?

"Mommy, it's not right to steal. I saw on tv! Bad men going to jail for stealing." She explains then takes the quarters from her mother. She drops them on the floor with a proud smile.

"We should leave them here so their owners can come find them!"

She smiles at her with a big toothless smile. Selina felt her heart melt some, but at the same time she needed to figure a way to get her lessons deep rooted into her daughter's mind.

"That doesn't make sense."  Batman cuts Amelia off as she was explaining one of her earliest memories. She looked at him annoyed. It was her life? Her memories? He wasn't there that day or several of the other days of her life.

"Catwoman always said she wanted more for you than her life." Amelia snorts then rolls her eyes. Of course he believed the lies her mother told him.

"She only told you that because you are dumb enough to believe her." She replies. Batman stands up then whispers something to Robin before leaving. Dick looked over at Amelia before walking to her and taking a seat.

"So...what should we talk about?"
