Returning To Tython

A still groggy Kaliana spent most of the journey back to Tython avoiding Alina and sleeping off all the shock of the 'mission'.

On their return, however, she made her way off the ship as fast as possible. "Where are you running off to?" Alina called out after her.

"To see if my door is fixed," Kaliana reminded her with a glower.

"Ooh, I better come too, I need to break the news to Anna," Alina answered, bounding after her. Kaliana sighed to herself.

"I'll go and talk to Grandmaster Shan then, and let her know how things went," Litaari said as she waved them away.

The two Jedi wandered away, seeking out Kaliana's quarters. The door was back on its hinges, but Anna wasn't in sight. "Well, at least the door is repaired," Kaliana noted. There was very little point in her stating this though, as the impatient Alina had noticed her sister's absence and then immediately raced off to track Anna down.

She found her sister in the temple's cantine, sipping tea and enjoying the peace and quiet. It was very soon shattered by a yell of, "Yo, Anna!" Causing a whole bunch of Jedi to whirl around and stare at the familiar horned disturbance.

Anna sighed deeply, "Welcome back, Sister," She answered, not sounding very sincere, "Please quieten down a little, take a seat and tell me about your mission."

Alina dropped onto the bench beside her, threw an arm around her shoulders and laughed, "Quiet? Nah..." She told her in the same loud tone, "But the mission was cool! Turns out we found our family while we were there. Aayla's with Imperial Intelligence, she showed up with Kali's weird Sith sister..."

"Wait, go back..." Anna already sounded confused, "Kaliana has a Sith sister? And Aayla's with Imperial Intelligence? How did you find this out??" She questioned.

"They told us. Turns out they were after us the whole time. Kali is our relative, see," Alina explained.

At that moment, Kaliana wandered in. She sighed and tried to back out again at the sight of her newly discovered relations, but Anna saw her first. "Is all this true?" She asked desperately, hoping that this weird story was just another of Alina's odd pranks.

"I am afraid so," Kaliana nodded, "And Litaari's a SIS agent, two of your sisters are Sith, one's a bounty hunter..." She started to fill in the rest of the blanks. Poor Anna looked completely confused by the story, but the other two Jedi pressed on with it and eventually filled her in.

When the explaining was over, Kaliana got up to leave again, "Anyway, I need to find a way to avoid these missions in future," She gave the pouting Alina a pointed look here, "So I am heading to discuss my future plans with Grandmaster Shan. I shall see you two later, I trust," She told them as she bid them farewell.

"Probably at the family reunion Aayla and I are planning, if not before!" Alina replied cheerily, enjoying Kaliana's scowl a little more than she ought to.

"Oh, wonderful," The other replied through gritted teeth, making a private note to find out when that was and be very busy that day. Her first introduction to her family had been bad enough for her, she had no desire to repeat that incident.

But at least they were back at home, away from Alderaan and the chaos that had ensued there, she thought on slightly more optimistic note as she headed off to find a nice, quiet temple job to keep her a long way from her mental relatives for the foreseeable future.
