"Goodbye Ken, Hello Marcus"

It's another rainy day for melanie lee. Today is the day she decided to stop thinking about ken tantoco and the senior ball.

She printed her resignation letter, one copy for ken and mr. tan.

She finally admit to herself that she likes ken. My extreme make over wont change how ken look at me or how he sees me.

Even how he treats me. It's not just him. Even the rest of the guys still sees the same old me.

Fat and pimply. In short ugly. I am too tired to see him with bobby, argue with him. I am  tired of trying so hard to get his attention.

I just have to quit. I wish senior year would be over and I am now a different me.

She close her eyes. Open. Then close her eyes again. Hoping her wish would come true

Then Carrie saw her. Mel what are you doing? 

Oh, nothing I was just trying to rest my eyes. ikaw naman hahaha.

Melanie quickly answered.

I see. Don't do that again in public. para kang baliw. Anyway I came here to see you and inform you a very good news. Carrie said.

Really? what is it? melanie asked.

My cousin marcus just came back from australia. His my dads nephew. His mom is my dads sister. She married an aussie guy which my lolo disapproved of.

So they stayed there for a very long time but we do see each other 2 times a year. His the closest cousin I ever had.

I want you and suzy to meet him and his your senior ball date.

Ha????Melanie was surprised.

I wont take no for an answer.

Gwapo ang pinsan ko at mabait.

Thats exactly the point, dapat ako na lang kadate ng cousin mo at hindi si mel. Suzy interrupted.

What? Eh may bf ka na no. Wag ka masyado malandi suzy. Carrie warned her friend.

I was joking. I am so sorry mel, palpak yung mga blind date mo.

Suzy said.

Its ok suzy. I had a great time with Sam Durbin.

So, saturday lets all get ready for the senior ball and meet marcus.

I have a date on saturday. kayo na lang muna. Suzy informed the 2 girls.

With whom? Chris or matt? Carrie asked.

After their first break, they went back to their respective classrooms.

Melanie saw ken and mr tan.  She gave them her resignation letter.

She never look back and that was the last time she saw both of them that day.

Saturday came. This is the day she's about to meet carrie's cousin. She wanted to say no, anyway she have no plan attending their senior ball.

Maricar have done so many great things for her. She just cant say no to her.

She decided to sign up for a personal blog that tells all about how she feels for ken.

I feel terrible and i really miss ken. Kahit madalas sila magtalo, maginisan.

Quiting means she's weak. Ken never really like me. The guy hates me.

In addition his with bobby.

Its really irritating in the eyes to see them together. But I must admit i have never felt this so much attraction and distraction to any guy my whole life. Just with ken.

I just have to close this chapter in my life. Im too young for any distraction.

Maricar a.k.a carrie arrange a double dinner date. Her with james.

Mel with Marcus.

It was one of the fanciest restaurant in ortigas. The price everything expensive. Not really recommended for teenagers like them.

Sometimes you just cant believe that this people exist in this world. Especially with Mel, all she had, all her life was just simple things.

Melanie wore a classic cocktail beautiful black dress and a nice black flat shoes.

She matched her outfit with a very light make up. She looked really stunning.

Ako ba to? asking herself while looking at the mirror.

Ang ganda mo naman.

Her mom complimented her.

Her dad said the same thing.

Hanngang dumating ang driver ni carrie para sunduin siya.

Melanie was expecting a disaster looking marcus.

But my oh my. He isnt. He is a greek god from greece. Very good looking. Meztiso. Tisoy. Ang gwapo.

Mel, my cousin marcus.

He smiled at her.

Most of all ang ganda ng ipin niya.

Hi. Finally. Marcus said.

Yeah finally. Melanie said back.

Have a seat. At super gentleman.
