Catra and Lance

A/N: (This isn't going to be exactly like fandom, I'm going to have Catra and Scorpia already in the rebel alliance, and for Voltron, this is after Zarkon was defeated but there's still leftover bases attacking. Also Klance and Catradora are canon because I said so😂)

*Ding* Catra stretches and yawns, hearing her computer go off with a message notification. She glances up at her girlfriend still sleeping peacefully.
She grins and pecks her on the cheek, before ambling over to the computer.
*Two new messages from Bluebisexual*
She opens her Insta and sees her friend Lance has texted her. "Hey Kitty Cat :)" "I know its early but I just got Keith to sleep a bit and I'm pretty bored, what's up?"

Catra glances to the corner of the screen and sees it's 2:30am.
"Nothing much, I was sleeping before you texted, but it's cool. How's Keith doing?"

"He's doing alright, still refuses to stop working until the Galra bases are done for. I'm surprised I got him to sleep considering one of the bases sent a spy drone to the Galaxy Garrison yesterday."

"Oh no that's awful, is everyone okay?" Catra asks.

"Yeah, Pidge managed to intercept it before it even got in the building, but we're on high alert for any others now. How about you? The Horde still after you guys?" Lance asks.

"Sounds like Pidge, tell her I said hey, and the rest of the team too. Yeah, ever since me and Scorpia switched sides, they've been sending hundreds of Horde soldiers, but we got Mermista and Perfuma on guard, so they never get very far." Catra says

"That's good then, I hope you defeat Hordak soon. Tell the princesses I said hi, as well." Lance says

"You can tell them yourself, I figured since I'm awake I'm gonna go over there and see what's up, I can facetime you when I get there." Catra says. She stands up and pulls on her boots and black jacket, grabbing her whip just in case, and writing Adora a quick note before leaving the apartment.

"Sure, let me just go out in the hallway so I don't wake Keith up. Tell me when you get there, and I'll call."

Catra quickly locks the door and starts down the winding staircase to the meeting room. She glances out the window and sees Perfuma and Mermista sitting in the grass, awaiting more soldiers. She waves at them and goes out to join them. "Hey guys, any activity tonight?"

Perfuma sighs, "Nothing for the past four days, I'm worried they're planning something big, and we wont be enough to stop it."

"But you wouldn't know anything about that, right Catra." Mermista says coolly. Catra sighs. Mermista still thinks she's a spy for the Horde, despite the fact that the Horde soldiers are attacking BECAUSE Catra switched sides. But she doesn't blame Mermista for being suspicious, after all, it was Catra who led the charge against Mermista's kingdom last year.

"For the last time Mermista, no I don't know anything, I'm not on their side anymore. If Adora can change, why can't I? I'm so sorry about your kingdom, which is why I'm trying to help now. I was in a bad place before, and Adora helped me see what I was doing was wrong, and how much good I could do here, with you guys." Catra blurts out her speech, and then waits in silence for a few seconds. Suddenly she feels a pair of arms wrap around her, she looks up and sees its Perfuma.

"Awww Catra that was beautiful! I knew you could change!" She beams.

Mermista is busy looking at her nails. "Yeah, it seemed true. I guess, I can, like,  forgive you, or whatever."

Catra smiles, knowing that's the closest thing she's going to get to acceptance from Mermista. "Alright so, now that that's out of the way, I was about to facetime Lance, and he wants to say hi, that cool?"

"Yeah totally!" Perfuma jumps up and down excitedly.

"Sure that's fine" Mermista says.

"Hey Lance, you can call now, we're all set" Catra types. Not even a moment later, Catra gets a call notification.
*Incoming call from Bluebisexual*

Catra swipes the screen and Lance's face appears on her phone. "Hey girls! How is everyone!" Lance says.

"I'm great! A little worried about the Horde, but overall feeling good!" Perfuma says

"That's my flower girl, always optimistic!" Lance says, doing finger guns at the screen. "And my water powered sassy sister, what's up?" Lance asks Mermsita.

"I'm doing pretty chill, just out here on patrol when I'd rather be sleeping but yknow, you gotta do what you gotta do." Mermsita yawns.

"That's right girl, beat some Horde a**"
Lance cheers. Mermista laughs. Perfuma and Catra stare.

Mermista looks over at them. "What?"

"I didnt know you could laugh!" Perfuma says excitedly.

"Um duh, everyone can laugh. I've laughed before, just not in front of you guys" Mermista says.

"Okay Lance, it was great catching up, but we gotta go, duty calls." Catra says, seeing her watch light up with a message from Queen Glimmer.

"Bye girls, be safe!" Lance blows a kiss and hangs up.

Catra taps on her watch a holographic image of Glimmer pops up. "Oh good, you're with the girls. Get to the meeting room now, it's about Adora." Glimmer fades out as Catra turns and runs, feet pounding the pavement. "Please please let her be okay, if Hordak touches one hair on her head, he's dead." Catra thinks. She turns into the room and sees everyone there, Glimmer, Bow, Castaspella, Frosta, Scorpia, Seahawk, Netossa, Spinerella, and Swift Wind. Everyone but Adora.

"Where is she, please tell me shes okay." Catra demands. Glimmer looks up, her eyes are red, from crying, but fierce.

"Hordak came and kidnapped her about half an hour ago. We're putting together a plan to go-" Catra cuts her off.

"The only plan I need is something sharp and a vehicle because Hordak is going to regret this." Catra snarls.

"Catra, we're just as upset as you are about this, but we can't just barge in without an actual plan." Bow says hesitantly.

"Fine, but hurry it up, because if Hordak even looks at my girlfriend wrong, I'm going to kill him." Catra says.

"So here's what we'll do. Frosta, Bow, Swift Wind? You take out the guards surrounding the main gates. Spinerella, Netossa, and Scorpia will get the lookouts from the guard tower, Mermista and Seahawk will go in first, clearing the area, making a path for us. Then Catra, me and you will take out Hordak, while Perfuma gets Adora out." Glimmer says.

"What are we waiting for then?" Catra says with a murderous gleam in her eye. "Let's go get Hordak."
