*Time skip, Next Monday*
The last few days when Heather was waiting for Monday to arrive, all she did was nothing but just staying at home the whole day looking at her phone literally just scrolling through social media.
In the morning, Heather got up and got ready for school before she went down for breakfast and leave for school, she also packed some revision things that they can revise and she would also not forget to bring her small little thank you gift that she bought for William last week but because she could never get close to him she never got the chance to give it to him.
*Time skip, after school* ((Sorry with all the sudden and many time skips))
After classes William said goodbye to Lizz and also said sorry that he can't send her home today and than went to Starbucks after that to meet up with Heather. While on Heather's side it was the same also but it was Heather who went a bit slightly earlier than William.
When William reached Starbucks, he saw Heather sitting beside the window looking down revising and waiting for William, "She is stunning as always" he thought to himself as he put on his big and charming smile walking towards her.
"Hi!" William said with a big smile on his face, happy to see Heather.
"Hey!" Heather replied looking up from her book
"So what do you want to drink? I'll treat you" Heather asked while standing up with her wallet in hand ready to go and buy their drinks
"Uhm... I'll just get a Iced vanilla latte than"
"Okay" After knowing what William wanted, Heather went to order their drinks. Since there was not a long queue, Heather came back with their drinks fast
"So what is it that you want to meet me?" William asked curiously
"Why can't I ask you out? because I do not see the problem why not" Heather replied casually and continued
"Okay fine, after the day at the amusement park and at the bar I gave a lot of thought about it and yeah I still have a lot of questions that I have to ask you but before that here this is a small thank you gift for the incident that happened at the bar last week, thank you" Heather handed the gift over to William and smile and than continued
"I was wondering when have you been so close to Lizz? Because I feel like you are always with her 24/7 and never separated don't tell me you guys are really a couple now."
"Huh? What are you saying? HAHA no, me and Lizz? A couple? Nah, we're not a couple, we're just friends" William replied casually
"Oh... I see and... You know the thing that you and Lizz were doing together about trying to break me and Lucas up? Yeah it worked okay, I am single now and yes Lucas cheated on me and... Yes, I was jealous that you were with Lizz all the time acting like a real couple when you guys are not even one" Heather said the last part maybe a little too quickly
"Huh? Wait what? I'm sorry could you perhaps repeat the last thing you said? I didn't catch what you say."
"Okay... So I said... that... I was jealous that you and Lizz were together all the time acting like a real couple when you guys are not even one and that I kind of felt left out since you already have so many friends now and so popular in our school, you barely even talk or hang out with me now." Heather repeated slowly and adding another few more things that she forgot to say earlier.
"Oh... I didn't realize this, I'm sorry cause I always thought you would not have a hard time looking for friends since you were always so outgoing and fun to be with so... who wouldn't want to be your friend?... And... what did you just said? You are single now? that Lucas CHEATED on you?! WTH?! I thought he was gonna treat you right even though I can't have you but what?! seriously... That's the worse way to break up with someone, Jeez~ that guy" William said feeling a bit angsty about it.
"Yeah......" Heather said feeling a bit down that William focused on the fact that Lucas is such a jerk and not give a thought about the fact that she said she likes William
"Wait wait before that I think I also missed something... I think I heard that... You were jealous? Does that mean... You... Like...me?" William asked carefully as he do not want to misunderstood anything
After hearing the last 3 words that William said slowly and shockingly, Heather shyly nodded her head and looked down not wanting to look into William's eyes as she was embarrassed
