re: the new kid(s)

"goddamn!" jungkook exclaimed as they arrived to the gates of their new school. none of them had ever been to a prissy prep school. they all opted out of the choice to attend normal school's, despite being well off.

"wow~" a freshly blonde somi stepped beside him, rocking designer sunglasses. she pushed the shades above her newly fair coloured locks to get a better look at the impressive building with her new hazel contacts.

"dude-" heejin was next to stand beside them as she also checked out the building.

"let's get this done." soyeon was the last to appear. she also sported a new hairstyle, having to wear extensions of black hair thay faded into a brown at the bottom. she also wore sunglasses, but the smaller oval type that barely covered her eyes. the oldest female popped a lollipop into her mouth before entering the premises with her siblings.

the four of them together looked badass, even while wearing school uniforms. speaking of the uniform, for the females they wore a white button up with a black vest over it, there was a red plaid blazer along with a matching skirt. for the male's, they wore a plain red blazer, the same shirt and vest, with a choice of either black or khaki slacks.

soyeon wore her blazer lazily, the article of clothing hanging around her elbows. instead of the require mary-jane's and dress shoes, heejin wore chunky white sneakers while jungkook wore his white nike air force 1's. somi's perfectly straight hair was pulled back with a thick headband and she wore black knee high socks instead of white one's.

basically, all of them were subtly not following dress code. except for soyeon, who's obviously dyed hair was against the rule book.

but aside from their looks, which was pulling so much attention, literally no pair of eye's there were used to look at anything else. the four of them drew that much attention.

when they reached the hall's, they had to split up to their specific grades. heejin and somi off to the sophomore hall and the older two off to the senior's.

heejin joined hands with her older sister as they headed to their designated classes. the hallways seemed to go on forever, more than they liked, before it came to an abrupt stop.

"you'll make it. you're not the same person you were last year. or the past three years before that. you're better." somi squeezed her hand with encouragement before letting heejin go completely. she smiled and waved, then disappeared behind the wooden doorway. heejin took a deep breath before going into her own.

somi was right. she wasn't the same person she was for the last four years. even though this was fake, this was her replay button. a chance to start over. no one knew her here. given the circumstances, it was absolutely impossible for anyone here to know her.

the bell rang, dismissing her thoughts completely, so she stepped inside.

"ah, everyone. we have a new student joining us today in our classroom. please welcome-" the teacher read from a piece of paper. "jeon heejin!"

the class took one look at her before erupting in whispers.

"would you like to introduce yourself?"

not being used to a korean classroom, she was confused of what customs they had. but really? introducing yourself in front of the entire class?
