People often try to emhasize some fact that are not directly related to the topic about which they are talking. Sometimes this happens because of fear. Such a prompts and useless words can seriously harm trustworthiness and impressiveness of a speech.

For example:

Someone has a speech and says:

Women should not try hard to be like man. Women should not make such effort to show that they are able to do presisely the same as men. They had better stop trying to join some positions in army which are rather manlike. I do not want to say that women are less than men. Do not get it wrong. I just think that men and women are simply different and it does not mean that one group is better and the second one worse. They just need to find their true nature and be proud of it.

Here is another version with almost same informations - definitely more powerfull, especially if it is said calmly and with confidence - and maybe with pauses between sentenses to create great efect.

Women should not try hard to be like man. Women should not make such effort to show that They are able to do precisely the same as men. They had better stop trying to join some positions in army which are rather manlike. Men and women are different. Nowadays is important - especially for women - to find true nature of their gender and be proud of it.

People often have similar unconscious reminders during conversations. They are afraid that somene could think something about them so they start assuring that they do not think this and they are not that... And their listeners do not even think about it if is not mentioned out of fear and uncertainty.

Sometimes, you can feel very strong need to add or mention something similar, but it is good to make an effort to overcame it. It pays a lot to be aware of useless words that destroy confidence and respect because they are only expression of unconscious fear.
