"This is one badass fucking house." I said through a smirk.

Both me and Axel were stood by the front door staring at the phenomenal interior, whilst all three dogs were sat outside because of how dirty they were.

"What the hell happened in here?!" Axel screeched, trying to sound as manly as he could.

"I hired an interior designer to redecorate the whole place." I said nonchalantly, my eyes scanning the surroundings.

The floor was gleaming white and the black gloss stair case running in individual slabs of marble leading to the upstairs ran along the wall to my left, a spot light occupied by each step.

"No shit" Axel dumbfounded "-this place used to be dark and old fashioned."

"You've been here before?" I asked, turning to face him.

He scratched his back awkwardly and slid his hands into his pockets.

"My best friend grew up in this house with his parents and his younger brother..." He trailed off.

"So Knight is their last name?" I guessed, unless they were actually knights, which I seriously doubted.

"Correct"

"And your bestfriend is called?..."

Axel looked hesitant but answered my question anyway.

"Asher"

I smiled, that was a cool name.

"Aw, Asher and Axel" I cooed, ruffling Axel's hair.

He went to pick my up by my hips but I grabbed both his arms and ran up his body doing a flip, knocking him back before he landed with a thud.

I started laughing uncontrollably as he groaned in pain, rolling about on the floor.

"I seriously underestimate you Castillo" he managed to choke out before Zak came running down the stairs shouting 'what happened'.

When he saw Axel he froze, and when Axel saw him he quickly got up and ran to stand by me.

"What the hell is he doing here!" Axel roared, power in his voice.

"I could say the same to you Hunter." Zak sneered back.

"You two know each other?" I quizzed as I put a hand on my hip.

"Unfortunately" Zak muttered.

"How do you know him?" Axel pressed, his eyes boring into mine.

I smiled like a little girl then cleared my throat.

"Axel, meet my assistant, Zak Haynes" I announced, pointing towards Zak.

Axel's face turned to fury as the word 'assistant' left my mouth and he balled his fist to contain his anger.

"He thinks I'm a traitor Darling" Zak whispered, but one of those whispers where you actually want the person you're whispering about to hear. "-because I ignore what I am..." He continued. "Because I don't let my wolf out"

I tilted my head to the side, raising an eyebrow as Axel started walking towards Zak angrily but I put a firm hand on his chest, making him stop.

"Are you gay or something?" I asked, earning a laugh off Zak, but in all honesty I was being serious.

"Far from it Skylar-" he paused to look at Axel, a menacing smile on his face. "-for example, take Jacob from Twilight, he's a werewolf, but let's say he didn't want to be one... So he just ignored it and never let his wolf out and didn't really take part in his pack. You know, cold-shouldering it all."
