The Vet, My home.

1 1 1

Loud barking. Animals fighting. Weird Odor. All of these may sound terrible, or just a reasons to not be a vet, but it's the best thing anyone could ask for. I watch the animals as they heal. Sometimes it could be a painful experience to watch, but seeing those guys come out of that dark place still brings a smile to my face. I watch more till Ginger comes yanking onto my pants.

You could always tell what that dog was thinking. He was like a book, a book I could read. Whenever he wanted to play he would attack my poor clothes. I bent down, cuffing this cup dog in my hands. Rubbing my face on his fluffy multicolored fur. Before we could play, Maria my manager comes in. "My my Verónica. Ginger is trying to heal, his results will slow down if you don't ́t let him rest." Maria tells me in a wary voice. She means no harm, yet that ticks my right off my stool. " I guess I'll continue to play with him." I say jokingly as I put Ginger down. Getting back up was something I will never regret doing. As I turn back to Maria, I notice her face has turned into a dark blood red.

I wasn't trying to be mean, but I burst out laughing. Tears rolling down my face. I could feel the hot water fall down my face. It was ridiculous! Dying on the floor, I couldn't wish for a better life. Everything was going amazing.

Maria quickly came over. Her work uniform suited her so well. The black and white jumper, that matched well with her dark hazelnut hair. Sometimes customers think we're sisters. Does having the same hair color make you siblings? Before I could continue the staring feast, Maria face darkens, as she looks down. I felt uneasy, as my stomach turns upside down. Maria is normally a cheerful person. Her whole family is cheerful. The world frowns, when she is sad. That's how bad it is. She fiddles her fingers as she mumbled words in a husky voice. "We're gonna lose the vet."
