Chapter 1

"Please don't, you know how I am." I told Anna; she thinks that I should tell my crush Gavin that I like him.
"Macy, you should tell him so you can get over him! You don't have to actually ask him out, just tell him how you feel." she said, because she and I are the same: both of us, when either of us like a guy, we won't say a word to him but the other will tell them the opposite. so, this time, it's her turn to lie to me.
"That's not gonna happen Anna, I'm too shy to even talk to him. plus, he doesn't know I exist." because Gavin doesn't talk to the people I talk to, we are completely different people. He talked to guys that play Minecraft and watch YouTube all day : I talk to shy girls and musical/theatric people. Then, the predictable thing happened: Gavin and his friends walked in. "here's your chance Macy! Go talk to him!" Anna said and pushed me in his direction and I bumped into Landon ," excuse me? have something to say?" "I'm sorry, I tripped. totally my fault, sorry" blushing terribly while I said it "it's fine, it was his fault," Gavin said. I was surprised Gavin stood up for me, not his friend.
Anna kept making faces at me after that.

Anna's Point of View

"Can we talk?" I asked Gavin. I'm going to help Macy, she won't do this herself. "What do you want?" Landon said. "W piece of advice, one of my friends likes you. not telling which one but i thought you should know." right when I said "likes you" his eyes light up, he either knows who and Macy already told or he's curious about who it is.
"Which one?"
"What part of 'Not telling which one' did you not understand?" he's not the smartest guy, I have no clue why she likes him.
"Gavin, give it up, she's probably not worth it. You can find other girls that like you. lets go already." Landon said. Then Macy walks in, oops.
"What're you doing? why are you talking to them?" she said, then her face changed; she figured it out, oh god. "You told him? How could you! I trusted you!" she's pissed. "You like me? it's you, isn't it? I thought you'd be into the nerdy type?" Gavin said. why does she like this guy anyway? "Macy, he wants to talk to you about it." I say because it'll help. Plus, I can see it in his eyes that he wants to talk to her to see if it's real. "Can we talk about it Emma?" he asked her. she's about to cry, Then she ran out of the room and he ran after her.

Macy's Point of View

I can't believe Anna betrayed me like that. She told him without asking me first. And then why I try getting away from that, he follows me outside.
"Macy, do you really like me?" he asked me.
"Yes but why would you care? So you can walk around and laugh about me? that's nice, real people don't do that Gavin." I was sad, now I'm mad.
"I never said I was going to do that Macy. Why do you like me? Explain this to me." I'm tempted to lie to him. to say 'because your eyes make me blush and when u smile I wanna faint' but I won't lie.
"I like how your humor is; it's not weird, it's not wrong but it's funny. And I like the way your hair quiffs like that and how it brushes the top of your glasses. I can never decide if you look better with or without them." I put all my cards on the table. I hope this doesn't cost me.
"Wow." that's all he says. He's looking straight at me. I can't handle it.
"I'll think about it." oh. my. god. "I'll tell you my answer sometime." oh my god. He's gonna think about it. He's gonna think about me.
