Sarah's P.O.V

(Swearing Warning)

School is such a wonderful thing. Well when you aren't getting bullied everyday. And to make matters worse, it's Monday. And there's this awful ringing noise in my ear. Oh wait, that's my alarm.
Turning on my alarm, I sat up and stretched out. Standing up, I made my way towards my bathroom. I grimaced at the sight in my mirror. Have I always looked this ugly? I'm pretty sure I've gotten uglier.
I should take my shower soon. I wouldn't want to miss my bus and the chance to get bullied. Oh did I mention, Abigail doesn't live far away, which means she rides my bus. Enough about her though. I need to get to my shower.

I made my way down the street towards my bus stop. And it seemed like Abigail was already there...wonderful. I walked over to the stop sign and stood there. Just like I predicted, Abigail walked over to where I was standing. I did the best I could to stay calm.
"You do the homework?" she asked, looking down at me. I felt my heart sink at that question. How did I forget to do my homework of all things?! Oh God, now she's gonna beat me up. What a great way to start off my Monday.
A pat on my head got my attention. I looked up at Abigail who seemed to be expecting an answer. "Did you?" she repeated. "...I forgot." I said hesitantly. I prepared myself for the worst.
But the worst never came. Instead, Abigail did something I never expected her to do. "Give me your paper." she said. Wait...what? Why would she want a blank paper?
Abigail thumped me across the head, snapping me out of my thoughts. "Do you want me to do the damn homework or not?" she asked, sounding annoyed."Oh...um...gimmie a sec." I said, taking off my bookbag and digging through it. Just as I handed her my paper, the bus pulled up. "Wait, what about your homework?" I asked, catching up with her.
She looked over her shoulder, giving me an unreadable expression. "Don't worry about that." she said, getting on the bus. Sighing in relief that I got spared, I followed her onto the bus and sat next to her. Another thing she would beat me up for if I forgot to do it. I know, I let her walk over me too much but I've gotten used to it.
"Emma showed me your eyes." Abigail said, making me freeze up. I started shaking at the thought that Emma would do such a thing. "Before you have a panic attack, she deleted the picture. Told me I wasn't allowed to blackmail you with it." she explained. I let out a breath I forgot I was holding. Today is gonna be a long day.

I walked into my class and made my way to my desk next to Brittney. Sitting down, I leaned on her shoulder and let out a sigh. "Did that bitch say something to you?" Brittney whispered. I shook my head. I was still thinking about what Abigail said.

Earlier on the bus...

"Y'know, your eyes aren't ugly." Abigail said. I looked over at her in shock. "What...?" I asked, dumbfounded. "It ain't fucking fair." she said leaning against the window. "What's not fair?" I asked.
"You. First, you show up at the foster home all cute and shy looking and now this." she said, sounding jealous. I blushed at the words 'cute and shy'. But, why did she sound hurt? "You're too goddamn perfect and it's not fair." she said. Is that why she bullies me?

Now...

The classroom door opening caught my attention. "Abigail, you're late." the teacher said. "Yeah yeah, I know." she said in a bored tone, walking towards my desk. She placed a paper face down on my desk, making everyone look at her. She glared, making them go back to what they were doing.

The time to turn in homework came. Abigail had done my homework and I turned it in. The teacher called on Abigail and asked for her homework. "Didn't do it." she said nonchalantly. She didn't do it...?
But, she did my homework. I started trying to wrack(?) my mind for reasons why she would do my homework over hers. A nugde on my arm made me jump. "Sarah, the teacher wants you to solve the question." Brittney whispered. I nervously stood up and made my way towards the board.
As I made my way down the hallway, I was suddenly pushed into the lockers. I looked up, seeing a teary eyed Abigail. Why was she crying? "Are you oka-" I got slammed into the locker again. "Shut up." she said, her voice cracking.
It actually hurt my heart seeing her like this. "Don't think this means I'm gonna start being nice to you." she said, letting me fall to the floor. Why are you even being mean to me? "In fact, I think I'm gonna make your life even more of a living hell." she said, smirking. With that, she turned around and left.
I sat there, thinking about what I could've possibly do to make her hate me. But, in the middle of thinking, I felt my eyes start watering up. I couldn't help but start sobbing. I don't know how long I had been sitting there before I felt a hand on my knee. I looked up to see a very pissed off looking Marty.
