Yn POV

Two years later in our relationship, I had a daughter with Turran and her name is Lani. She is currently 2 years old. Today was her birthday.

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear Lani, happy birthday to you." We all sang to her.

"Blow out the candles baby." I smiled and she blew them out, even though it took her some time and we all started to clap. Turran picked her up and started to spin her around and then tickled her making her laugh. I smiled and he bent down to kiss me.

"Okay, who wants cake?" I asked.

"Toy!" Lani yelled as she unwrapped her gift. I laughed as Turran wrapped his arm around me.

"Yeah, your auntie got you that one." Said Turran smiling.

"Tank you auntieee." She cheesed and we all laughed

She then walked over to a bag and picked it up but it fell back down. She took out all the paper and she looked shocked.

"What is it babes?" Asked her Godmother, Antanay. She pulled out a handful of candy and she came over to me.

"Mommy, can you open this?" She asked. I nodded and opened the candy for her.She sat down and ate the candy and we laughed at her.

"You funny at me?" She asked raising her eyebrows. I smiled and shook my head.

...

"Ight, I'll catch you later Andre." Said Turran dapping him up. I was holding Lani and waving bye to everyone.

"Bye Andre." I yelled before he got inside his car. We walked back in and locked the door and sat on the couch.

"You had a good birthday princess?" Asked Turran.

"Yeah, I had so much fun." She smiled. I could see some frosting on her teeth and I laughed.

I kissed her forehead and played with her hair. We turned on the tv and started to watch tv. Lani was laying on my arm and Turran was laying on my lap as I played in his hair.

All of a sudden we heard a bunch of gunshots at once and me and Turran looked at each other.

"Drive-by." We both said and grabbed Lani and laid flat on the floor. The bullets went through the wall and windows and Lani started to scream.

The shooting then stopped and my heart was racing.

"Is it done?" Asked Lani getting up. I tried to grab her down but a bullet went through the window and through the back of her head.

My eyes widened and she fell to the ground with her eyes wide open. Turran crawled for the window and we heard tires going real fast. He looked out the window and stood up.

I sat up and held onto Lani with tears streaming down my hot, red face.

"Call the police Turran!" I yelled and he ran upstairs and back downstairs with his phone in his hands.

I held onto Lani really tight and prayed that she was gonna be okay. But I knew she wasn't, it went through the back of her head, right in front of my eyes.

"They'll be here in 2 minutes." He said coming over to me.

"She's gone Turran, she not breathing." I cried. I laid her down gently, covered in blood.

I turned around to Turran and cried on his shirt. I could hear him sniffling which meant he was crying too.

2 minutes later the ambulance came and took her. We got inside our car and followed them.

'In loving memory of Lani' is what the cross grave. Turran held my hand and I put the rose next to the rest of the roses.

Tears ran down my face as I gripped on Turran's hand harder.

"Come on baby." Said Turran throwing his arm around my shoulder. I grabbed the hand that was on my shoulder and walked away, letting go of my baby.

Turran POV

It's been 4 weeks since my daughter died and Yn has been holding a grudge. She keeps saying that it was her fault and she has been feeling depressed.

I miss Lani so much. Everytime I hear her name, my heart would break into many pieces. I loved her so much, she was so sweet.

I just pulled up at my house and I walked inside. I walked upstairs, Yn was probably laying down.

"Baby?" I called. She didn't answer. Usually she would at least say something in a soft voice but I didn't hear nothing.

I went to our bedroom and she wasn't in there.

"What the fuck?" I said to myself. I looked over at the bathroom and for some reason, the light was on. I walked to the door and knocked.

"Yn, you in there?" I asked and there was still no reply. I opened the door and saw her throat slit open and a note on the floor. I almost threw up at the sight and started to cry.

"No, please, Yn, please don't leave me." I said chocking on my words. I fell to the ground and shook my head. I checked her pulse and they weren't working.

I kissed her forehead one last time and hugged her, getting blood all on me. I grabbed the note and sat in the corner.

It read:

Dear Turran,

I love you so much, I just couldn't take it anymore. I been up past midnight just thinking about Lani, and I couldn't stand to live on this cruel world and suffer with depression. I know this won't solve anything but I guess there is something wrong with me. I just wanted to let you know that I'm watching over you. I'll miss your crazy ass, I love you. Promise me that'll you'll live a good life without grieving over me. I promise I'll be alright.
