"Take me to Neverland!" Lola flew around the living room, Jeffrey following his older sister on his chubby little legs, unsteady on his newly found automobiles.
"Lola, you're living in another world." Her dad told her.
"Oh, Tom, let the girl dream. She's a child." Nicole looked up at her husband in a condescending way.
Tom gave up knowing he wouldn't be able to win and walked away from his wife and his little four year old daughter who now played on the floor with her dolls house. Jeffrey waddled after him, holding out his arms so that his dad would pick him up.
Lola placed her dolls down and twiddled her ponytail around her hands, flicking herself in the face. She walked over to her mum who was sat on the sofa. she clambered on her mum's knee and wrapped her little arms around her mum's waist.
"Mummy. Do you think people can really stay young forever?" It was a curious question for a four year old to ask, Nicole thought.
"It all depends if you believe. Believing is your heart's way of knowing." Nicole smoothed down her daughters hair and placed a kiss on top of her head.
I've improved this to make it seem like a better book xD i've also made it so that its a little bit more representive of all the characters.
