(APRIL POV)
We quickly drove down to the liquor store where we got out and grabbed 5 bottles of red/white wine, 2 Jack Daniels, 1 Malibu and 6 Absolute.
Even if we don't drink it all in 3 days, there'll be plenty left over for future stays.
"Can you drop me at the supermarket?" I asked Matt. He nodded and started the car.
He parked in the parking lot, me quickly getting out, feeling gross in my sweats and Matt's hoodie, and ran quickly inside. It was quite cold and looked as though it were about to snow.
I walked quickly to the 'lady's isle' where I grabbed a packet of tampons. I paid for them and walked over to the cigarette counter.
"April?" I turned around swiftly.
"Jay? Hi." Oh shit. Another one of my brothers friends. I smiled awkwardly and walked over to him after I paid for my cigarettes and hid them in my pocket.
"Is that Matt's?" He asked, pointing to the hoodie. I shook my head.
"No? Is that your mums?" I said rudely, pointing to a ring on his finger.
"No, actually. I'm engaged." I froze, unable to say anything.
"Holy shit! Jay James is settling down! I have to tell Ma.... oose the great news!" Oops. I hugged him and said goodbye as I quickly ran out of the supermarket.
"April!" He yelled, running after me.
"What?"
"You forgot these!" He said, passing me my tampons.
"Thanks." I decided to wander the car park until he was back inside before I got in with Matt.
"What'd you buy?" Matt asked once I was in the car.
"Tampo...."
"Ew." I punched him in the arm.
"And a pack of smokes." He smiled. I thought you quit.
"No." I winked at him, seedily.
