Natsu x Lucy~ The future child

It was another average day at the fairytail guild. The headquarters of the strongest wizards since the magic games. There the wizards spent out there days getting missions and goofing off. It was any average day and everyone was out on a mission. A certain team of wizards in particular Lucy, Natsu, and happy were on a mission for a wealthy fabric salesman who needed a giant worm removed from his yard.

~At the fabric salesman's home~

*gak!*the young fire dragon slayer and celestial wizard gaped at the giant lazy looking worm. "Um...excuse me sir, but you want us to get rid of this work?" Lucy said hoping the man was joking and would say no. "Oh yes" said the man in serious tone but with a smile plastered on his face. "This worm has been in my yard for a while now and it is eating away at my flowers. I just didn't know what to do. So that is why I called you. Won't you be able to remove it?" Asked the man with slight worry in his tone. "Um we-" lucy began but was cut off by her counterpart. "OF COURSE WE CAN GET RID OF THIS WORM!" Natsu boasted popping his nuckles "THIS JOB WILL BE A PIECE OF CAKE!" Lucy on the other hand had a bit of doubt. Seeing the worm was obviously colossal. But she then felt Natsu place a hand on her shoulder of reassurance. "Don't worry Luc, we can do this" said Natsu with a cheeky grin on his face. Lucy then perked up and was now pumped and fired up giving a small nod of confidence. Lucy then grabbed her celestial keys and opened the gate to Virgo. "Yes lady Lucy, do you wish to punish me?" Said the maid dressed celestial. "Uh no, that won't be necessary" said Lucy. "I just want you to try and move this giant worm?" "Of course mistress Lucy." As that was said Virgo soon was digging under ground. She soon came back up doing into the air picking up the worm in the process. She then tossed the worm in the air and socked as far as possible. The worm was then out of the yard and the mission was complete. "Oh thank you oh so very much fairytail wizards! You have been such a marvelous help now I can see my beautiful flowers." The fabric salesman then paid them and offered them some fabric and flowers. They gratefully accepted. Happy said he had something to do and would meet back up with them at the guild. Lucy and Natsu just thought nothing of it and we're on their way back to the guild.

~Somewhere around the guild~

A flash of light suddenly appeared in a dark alley, and soon a young pink haired girl around the age of five appeared. The little girl looked around unfamililiarly and ran out of the alley into the opening. The young girl looked left and right and then soon had a determined look soon her face. "I gotta find mommy and daddy the young girl said. The young girl than began to run in a direction which she had no idea where it lead.

~Around another side of the guild~

Gray and Juvia were coming from a mission and we're on their way back to the guild. As they were walking a young pink haired girl bumped straight into them knocking her down. Gray and Juvia realised this and began to try and help the little girl up. She then looked up at the two of them with innocent eyes and allowed them to help her up. She then brushed herself off and was about to get ready to be off again when Gray and Juvia stopped her. "Um excuse me for asking but where praytell are you headed?" Asked Gray. The young girl looked up and then nodded she then reached into a bag she had with her and pulled out a sheet of paper showing it to both Gray and Juvia. The two wizards looked at the paper. And then at the young girl. "Your looking for the fairytail guild?" They both asked in unison confused."Yes" she nodded, "that's where I can find mommy and daddy." Gray and Juvia looked at each other confused. They knew of no one I. The guild with a child like this.They just shrugged the thought off and decided to bring her with them anyway. "We can show you to the fairytail guild because you see we are apart that guild l, would that be alright?" Juvia said with a light smile on her face. The little pink haired girls face began to light up excitedly. "Really? Could you please?" She said full of determination. Juvia giggled "of course, right Gray sama?" She said hoping for a yes. "of course" They were then on their way back to the guild again. Once they got back to the guild people began starring at the young girl. All eyes were on the young girl. The guild was silent until everyone all at once began to bombarded Juvia, Gray, and the young pink haired girl with many questions. The people who hovered over began to make her panic and she then did something the wizards didn't expect for girl like her to do. She used celestial magic and opened a celestial gate which what seemed to be a mini Virgo around the same age as her. The people sat quietly as she his behind this mini Virgo. Soon a particular loud team of wizards bust through the door. "WHERE BACK!" Natsu said in a loud boastful voice" "aye" said happy behind as Lucy shook her hair at her teams loud demeanor. Suddenly they realised every one was quiet and looked upon what made them so mute and saw a young girl with pink hair who hid behind another girl who looked an awful lot like lucy's Virgo. Then suddenly the little girl did and said something everyone, not even Lucy and Natsu expected to happen. "Mommy! Daddy!" The young girl yelled cheerfully jumping into both Natsu and Lucy's arms. "Eh. . ." Natsu and Lucy said in unison, their faces turning red in the process. "Ah no you must be confused little girl." Said Lucy as she and Natsu put the young girl down. "Yeah" Natsu agreed, "me and Lucy are good friends but we wouldn't engage in any romantic relations." Natsu said very bluntly. The little girl stared confused at first but then began to tear up. Natsu and Lucy began to panic some. "Eh, what we mean To say is that me and Natsu couldn't possibly have a child." Lucy said trying to reason to the Teary eyed girl. The young girl began to wipe her face and then went into her bag and picked out what seemed to be a letter "but you sent me here from the future to warn you of the demon Numa who tries to take mommy 8years from now." The little girl sniffles. Natsu and Lucy look at each other confused then look back at the little girl before them. "What do you mean a demon named Numa tries to take away Lucy?" Natsu asked confused and concerned. "I don't know" the small girl said as she shook her head. "All they said was to tell you and give you this." She said pointing to the sheet of paper she gave them. What the letter said really shocked them. The demon that tries to take Lucy 8 years from now must be stopped before he is awakened by some imbecile and that they had to destroy the stone Numa was trapped in before that happened. Lucy and Natsu had trouble grasping the concept but they had a good feeling the little girl wasn't lying and that she was from the future apparently their child. They soon all sat down to process this and stated at the little girl for a moment. They then realise that they didn't even know the little pink haired girls name since she was supposed to be their child in the future. "So", Lucy began, "You never told us your name " the little girls face slowly came to a realisation and gave a cheeky grin similar to Natsu's. "Why my name is Nashi Heartfilia Dragneel but you and daddy usually call me Na chan!" The young girl said quite perkily. Soon Gray stepped up to the Nashi and looked at her. "Heartfilia Dragneel huh?"Gray said as if trying it on his tongue. "So you've got both their names is that right." "Yes" Nashi started "mommy and daddy told me that the reason that I have both their names is because they had a big argument on who's last name I got so they just agreed that I would have both of their names." She said playing with the sleeve of her shirt. "Well that does sound a lot like Lucy and Natsu." Said Mirajane cheerfully joking. Everyone began laughing at the remark knowing the two in the group were like that. "So how old are you?" Asked Levy curiously. "I'm 5 and a half." She said cheerfully kicking her legs. "Wait a minute." Lucy started " You mean 3 years from now me- and Natsu are going to- to" Lucy said turning red and flustered pointing at Nashi and Natsu back and forth between them. As Lucy spazzed out she was unaware of the table behind her and almost tripped over it. Natsu realised this and caught her by the waist and arm, making her to look deeply into his brown eyes. They stayed like that for only a few seconds until Lucy came to realisation and spazzed out again, pushing herself out of Natsu's grip making her fall and scurry away from him. Natsu was confused for a moment as to why Lucy was acting this way but cheeks turned a light red and came to a realisation when he glanced over at the small girl claiming to be his and Lucy's daughter. Natsu had to admit, he had been having these unexplainable feelings for Lucy.Yet he was not sure if his feelings were romantic or just Nuetral towards the blonde celestial wizard. He never really thought about it much and tried not to. Up until now. Lucy on the other hand had strong to romantic feelings toward the hot headed dragon slayer wizard for a while now, she had feelings for him since the very first time they met but not till later on did she realise that the feeling was love. She put it into her mind that the he didn't share the same feelings as she did, yet still hope he did. Either way she Lucy Heartfilia new she was madly on love with Natsu Dragneel. Even if he was a completely hot headed idiot. Nashi watched as her parents from the past faces changed ever so often. "Mommy, Daddy?" Nashi said with slight concern in her tone. Lucy and Natsu quickly whipped their heads around and forced smiles on their faces. "Y-yes?" Lucy and Natsu said simultaneously. Lucy and Natsu looked at each other blushing then suddenly feeling the looks of the others in the guild staring at them. Making them break into a cold sweat. Suddenly a flash of red and blue appeared through the guild door. It was none other than Happy and Erza walking in. Breaking the awkward atmosphere, Ezra walked through with a giant bundle of wood with happy flying in after her. As Erza dropped the bundle of woodshed couldn't help but notice the awkward atmosphere in the room. Suddenly Erza sees a small girl she had never seen before in the guild. When Erza nhad finally had enough of the awkward silence she spoke up. "Ehem!" Everyone suddenly turned their heads toward Erza and listened to what she had to say. " I have two questions, why everything so quiet here and who is this little girl." Erza boomed in her strong voice. Everyone in the guild looked around at each other then straight at Lucy and Natsu. Natsu and Lucy both have an awkward laugh then Lucy stepped forward and explained to Erza as to why their was a unfamiliar child in the guild. Erza took a moment to process it all then came to conclusion. "hmm. So what your saying is that this child is yours and has come from the future to warn you of the coming of a demon?" They have a nod. They thought Erza wouldn't believe them but the look on her face said other wise. I want to say that your lying but I feel that theirs a great possibility this is true. But if you truly are Natsu and Lucy's child, I would like to see your magic in battle. Erza said bluntly to the little Nashi. Natsu and Lucy nervously watched as Nashi rose up from her Seat. They feared that Erza would hurt the small girl. Nashi took stance as Erza drew her sword. Nashi then took her key and summoned the mini Virgo. Erza watched this and seemed perplexed. On Erza's count they started. Erza battled the little Virgo with great power but could not over come by Erza everyone watched stunned when Erza struck the mini Virgo and it vanished. Erza then charged at little Nashi.Natsu and Lucy began to panic, but before they could stop the battle Nashi did something unexpected. She was using dragon slayer magic! Everyone in the guild was stunned. She had just used celestial magic, but was now using dragon slayer magic. Everyone in the guild watched enthusiastically as the fight continued. Suddenly When Nashi thought she had almost finished Erza she saw she had vanished. Nashi looked all over the guild wondering where the red head had gone. Suddenly she felt a presence behind her and a sharp object to her back.she then turned around and fell on her back. Erza,a had seen enough and helped the girl up and allowed her to brush herself off. Erza walked up to Natsu and Lucy and smiled with a sigh. Natsu and Lucy looked at Erza with confused faces. "well?" Lucy asked anxiously. "well, she is your child, which means she was speaking the truth of the demon to arrive and take away Lucy." Erza said exhaling. "But why only Lucy?" Nashi began to speak up. "It said something about mommy having the key." Nashi said. Erza gave confused look. "The key to what?" Nashi gave a shrug. "Then what do we do?" Natsu asked worried. "well, until the time come we must keep good watch of Lucy and protect her at all cost." "Natsu will probably be best to stay with Lucy for protection" Mira announced winking at Lucy causing her to blush. mhm, that's a great idea. Natsu, from now on, you shall be Lucy's personal body guard. "Eh?!!" Lucy said surprised. Natsu gave a thoughtful look and shrugged. "hmm, I guess it can't be helped. Well! I'm definitely fired up now! I will protect Lucy with my life. Ok Luc." Natsu said giving Lucy a wink and a trademark grin. Lucy was red as a tomatoes now. Yet still found that Natsu's reliability to be quite comforting in. She couldn't help but think. "who knows what will happen now?"
