Natsu x Lucy~ The future child pt.3

Lucy soon awoke to the bright glare of the sun apon her face. Groggy, she sat up recalling the events from the day before. Remembering how a little girl claimed to be from the future and was she and Natsu's child. She looking around not spotting the little girl nor Nastu any where. "Was it all a dream?" As Lucy pondered these thoughts she suddenly heard a clutter come from her kitchen. Lucy began to panic soon smelling something wafting through the air. She got up and carefully made her way to her kitchen with her celestial whip, but what she saw shocked her. Nastu was in the kitchen cooking, with the little girl sitting at the table drawing pictures. Nastu soon noticed her standing there, "Ah, morning Lucy." Nastu said casually. "Oh, Nastu" Lucy said with slight anxiety in her voice. "so it wasn't a dream." Lucy thought internally. "I didn't want to wake you up so I let you sleep in." Nastu said ever so casually. Lucy looked at Natsu suspiciously. Nastu was acting way to sincere, which was out of the normal for Natsu.
"oh, I see." Lucy smiled slightly. "Morning mama!" Nashi giggled and hopped from her seat leaping into Lucy's arms. Lucy caught Nashi and looked down at her in wonder. "She's such a wonderful girl. It's still hard to believe she is me and Natsu's child." Lucy though internally. Nashi suddenly gave Lucy a questionable look seeing Lucy deep in thought. "Mama, is everything ok?" Lucy jolted at the sound of Nashi's voice. "Ah- yes, of course! Everything's great!" Lucy played off nervously. "Mama?" Nashi still looked unsure at Lucy. Lucy smiled more reassuringly. "Don't worry Nashi-chan. Everything is gonna be just fine." Nashi then grinned and giggled clinging to Lucy's neck making her giggle as well. Maths smiled at the both of them then pumped his fist with fire. "Alright! I'm all fired up now!" Nasty said giving his trade mark grin with a determined look on his face, making both Nashi and Lucy grin and agree. "Lets have breakfast shall we?" Lucy said and smiled. "Yes!" Both Nashi answered and Natsu sprung up grinning. Lucy smiled at the pair and finished up with the breakfast.

After breakfast they all got ready to head out towards the guild. They ventured out with Natsu and Lucy holding both of the small girls hands. They got the occasional giggle and glance. It was obvious they looked like a couple. Yet it still felt odd for them. When they arrived at the guild it was rowdy as ever. Natsu was about to run off and fight with Gray again but then remembered he had to help watch over Nashi. Nasi then looked off towards Gray strip dancing scowling, longing to beat him to a pulp.

He glanced at Lucy to see her staring making him blush and fluster. "Natsu" Lucy gave him a questionable worried look. "Are you alright?" "Ne-never better Luce! Hehehe." He said doing his best to pull a smile. Lucy sighed and quirked her lip slightly. "You want to go fight Gray now don't you?" Natsu's eyes widen "oh-of course not! Wh-why would I wanna be the one to kick that ice dancers ass!?" He said trying his best to resist the urge to fight Gray. Lucy sighed. "Natsu if you wanna fight Gray you can go fight Gray. I'll be sure to watch over Nashi." Nathan's eyes lit up like a Christmas tree. "Really!? You mean it!?" He said grabbing Lucy's hands staring her deep I to her eyes making her blush and heart skip a beat. "S-sure. Knock your selves out." She said nervously. Natsu then engulfed her into a hug throwing her off guard. "Thank you Luce! I owe you!"
He then ran off to fight with Gray. Lucy sighed watching him fight with Gray, throwing fire and ice. "So how's the progress between you and Natsu?" Mira said surprising the celestial mage. "Eh, well it's making progress." Lucy said smiling. "Hmmm? I see. So has he confessed yet?" Lucy turned bright red at Mira's words. "A-ah, well..." Lucy thought back to Natsu's words from the previous night. "I guess you could say that." Lucy smiled blushing. "Hmmmm?" Mira squinted suspiciously at her. Lucy chuckled nervously as Mira examined her face. "Wha-what is Mira?" Lucy said nervously. Mira smirked and walked off. "Nothing, nothing." "Eh?" Lucy stared dumbfounded. Then she realised it was Mira and shrugged it off.
Soon after, Erza came throughout the door making both Natsu and Gray freeze up. She calmly walked across the guild and sat down at the bar. "Natsu, Lucy, I've found some leads on the demon Numa. Maths and Lucy simultaneously lit up. "Really?!"
Erza nodded stoically. "We will leave out in two days. That should give you enough time to get ready."
Both Natsu and Lucy nodded. So many thoughts raced through Lucy's head. She became unsure of dealing with this Numa character. Natsu looked over to Lucy and placed his hand on her shoulder giving her a reassuring smile. "Dont worry Lucy, we'll get this guy!" Giving her his trade mark grin making her smile along with him. "Yeah" Lucy said smiling finding a new placed trust in Natsu, fairy tail, and all of her comrades.
They would defeat this new found evil and protect their future.
