Adam walked out of the school, almost getting trampled by the other students. The dismissal bell has just rung, and everyone's more than ready to get out of this poor excuse of a high school. "Adam!" Tim yelled, Jaiden following close behind.
Adam turned around, but Tim and Jaiden were nowhere to be found. It'd be much easier of all these students would take a chill pill and slow their roll. He pushed through the crowd and saw Tim and Jaiden sitting on a bench. He ran over to them.
"Hey, did you call me, man?" Adam said, adjusting his backpack strap.
When he looked up at Jaiden, she had that cold look. That 'you're in deep-ass trouble' look. Adam tensed.

"Did you kiss James?"

"WHAT!?" Adam cried, "NO!"
"I just ran into him..." He mumbled, sinking into his hoodie.
"Are you lying to me?" Jaiden deadpanned. Adam looked up at her. "N- Yes..." Adam sighed, "But-! He- I- I was walking down the hallway, he pinned me to a locker, flirted with me, and when I tried to walk away, he grabbed me and kissed me. No biggie. I don't even fucking know the guy, I just know that he's a huge douche who can't keep his dick in his pants. It was a one-time thing. One. Time." Adam explained.
Jaiden hummed. "Okay." She said, leaning back and looking at Tim.
"Can I go now? I already sold my soul to Satan." Adam groaned. Jaiden looked at him. "Sure, but take this as a warning-" Jaiden said, "You're in for a deep ride." She said, looking into his eyes. Adam tensed. That wasn't a good sign. "Okay then... Bye..." Adam said, obviously uncomfortable. He didn't know what it meant, and he was sure he didn't want to know.

He walked away as the crowd got less wild. He could actually see where he was going. He sighed as he got ready to walk his way home. As he dragged his shoes against the concrete sidewalk, he ran his fingers through his dark hair.
He heard light footsteps coming from behind him. He turned around- and froze. "James?!" Adam squealed.
James was on his phone. "Huh-? Wha- oh." James said. "I didn't notice you there, pumpkin."

"God, why do I ever open my mouth," Adam grumbled, turning around, wanting to get home sooner now.
"Nope, you're not getting away. You did this to yourself." James chuckled, walking up next to him. Adam let out a groan.
The blonde snaked his arm around Adam's waist, pulling him slightly closer.

"Why are you so gay?" Adam said.

"Pardon?"

"You're gay. I don't even know you, and I can tell you're gay." Adam uttered. James just shook his head. "I just think you're pretty cute," James said, booping Adam on his nose.

"Gay," Adam said under his breath. James rolled his eyes.
"I want to know about you," Adam said.
James hesitated.
"There's not much to know. I'm Robert James Rallison. Not much to it. I live alone with my dog, Floof, and that's all. I don't care about me, pumpkin, I want to know about you." He said.
Adam shook his head.
"Adam Ortiz Junior. That's all you need to know." Adam huffed. James hummed. "That's alright. I'll find out more sooner or later." James looked down at him.
They both walked in silence.

"Hey, pumpkin...?" James said.
Adam hummed.
James held Adam's chin and turned his face towards his. They both stopped walking. They stared at each other.
The taller boy leaned in, along with Adam. James twirled Adam's hoodie string around his index finger as his lips came in contact with Adam's.

Adam can hardly believe he's having a fucking make-out session with a dude he met the same day. They both pulled away, gasping for air.

"I hate you," Adam said, his face red.

"Yeah, right." James smirked, "You're so cute."

Adam rolled his eyes. "Alright, I'm going home," Adam said, knowing he needed to turn this corner to get to his house.
"Bye." Adam coldly said, walking the other way, not noticing the way James's eyes flashed with slight disappointment.

'okay.' Adam thought.
'maybe, just maybe, it's a two-time thing.'
