Chapter 1

Camila POV

"Hi." I turn around to see Jake there.

"Oh hi." I say smiling at him.

"What are you doing Friday night?" He asked.

"Probably just stay at home watching a movie or.." I cut myself, yeah I'm not about to say I write songs.

"Well if you're free, wanna hang out, just you and me.. what do you say?" He asks and I bite my lip before looking down smiling.

"I'd like that." I say and he smiles nodding.

"Great.. see you at glee club." He says and I nod before realizing what he said.

"Wait what?" I ask causing him to look at me.

"You are joining aren't you?" He asks.

"Jake.. I only did the play because Finn almost begged me and I couldn't find it in me to say no to him." I say and he takes my hands in his.

"But you have such an amazing voice you have to sing with us." He says.

"Jake I.." I say but he just pulls on my hands.

"Come on, the meeting starts in a few minutes." He says dragging me with him.

"Ok guys sit down we got a lot of work to do today. No, seriously, come on I mean it, sit down." Finn says making all of us take a seat.

"Ok so first order of business today is to welcome the newest members to the glee club. Ryder, Kitty and Camila." Finn says causing them to clap.

"Don't we all get to vote on Kitty or something?" I think her name was Tina says.

"Well, Tina, Kitty was fantastic in Grease." Finn says.

"In spite or my god awful part." The blond says.

"Besides we're under the gun we need to go to sectionals next week and we need at least 12 members to compeat." Finn says.

"But we have Camila." Tina says.

"She just came up to me a few minutes before we started I had already said yes to Kitty." Finn explains.

"Where was I? Oh yes Sectionals! Here's the game plan." I think he's new, he seems unfamiliar with things.

"The theme is 'Foreigner' We're going to sing songs by Foreigner in foreign languages, wearing all the costumes of the world's nation." Finn says and we all stay quiet for a minute.

"Wait seriously that's you're idea?" The boy on the wheelchair says.

What is he wearing?

"So I get it, my first idea was pretty bad." Finn says.

"Worse than Funk." Tina says.

"Worse than 'night of neglect'." The one in the wheelchair says I think his name was Archie? Wait no Artie.

"So I decided to try something new, 'Dynamic Duets'. This is gonna be a lot more fun, and it focuses on something you guys actually like; superheroes." Finn says.

"So wait are we all gonna have to wear costumes?" One of the girls asked.

"And who exactly are you suppose to be? The Bulge who makes gym socks disappear?" Artie asked.

"Please don't melt us with you Bulge." I hear Brittany says.

"Well I am, the almighty Treble Clef, uniter of Glee Clubs." Finn answers.

"Jesus is the only real almighty superhero." Was that really necessary?

"Come on guys let's hear him out." One of the guys says.

"Thanks. Look at the Avengers, individually they all have amazing powers but as a team they can't be stopped. Right now we're a bunch of individuals with great powers and talents but we're not a team. Some of you even mortal enemies in this very room allowing the dark side to turn us against each other when we should be focusing on the Warblers.

"Nightbird is handling the missing trophy." A guy says.

"Great, thank you nightbird. Jake will pair up with Ryder, Marley will join Kitty to preform the duets. The rest of you start preparing to fight an epic battle against the forces of evil at Sectionals." Finn says just before everyone clapped.

I can't believe he just fought with Ryder because of Marley on their duet.

"Camila.. Camila wait." Thinking of the devil, I feel his hand grip my hand causing me to turn around and look at him.

"What?" I ask taking my arm away from him and crossing my arms over my chest.

"Look I.. I do like Marley ok.. I've liked her for a while now. Truth is I only asked you out this Friday because she blew me off for Ryder." I scoff and went to turn away but he stops me.

"Just.. listen to me please." He says and I stay quiet waiting for him to continue.

"I know this is going to sound weird but I think I'm starting to like you too. I don't know how to explain it, you're just so cute and adorable it's.." I sigh looking into his eyes.

"Just don't blow me off this Friday.. I'm really looking forward to hanging out with you." He says making me sigh again.

"Fine. I mean it's just a hang out, as friends. Not really a date right?" I ask and he nods.

"Yeah.. yeah we can just stay in and watch a movie or something." He says and I nod.

"Deal." I say nodding before walking away.

"Ok so tell me something you don't want anyone to know, a secret you keep inside that you wouldn't willingly tell anyone." I say giggling taking a seat next to him. We've been here for a few hours just playing video games before we started talking instead of yelling at each other and laughing.

"Uh.. Ok.. I take dance classes." He says and I making my jaw drop.

"No way." I say smirking laying down on his bed as I hear him laugh.

"Yeah.. it's embarrassing but I take ballet classes." He says showing me his moves making me laugh.

"Ok, what about you? What's a secret you keep to yourself that you're too embarrassed or scared to share with anyone?" He says and I sigh propping on my elbows.

"This is a bit embarrassing but I like writing songs." I say.

"Wait really?" He asks and I nod biting my lip.

"No one knows this.. except maybe my sister because she somehow knows everything." I say making him chuckle.

"You'll have to sing me one sometime.. or how about.." Jake says smirking at me causing me to raise a brow.
