Taming Him (Jake Puckerman fanfic)

Chapter 4

Camila POV

I really ask Jake to the Sadie Hawkins dance and Santana said I should write him a song and sing it for him in the club before asking him. I don't know if I should do it or not.. I mean it's not like I've wrote a few songs about him or anything.

"So this week in Glee club it's ladies choice, inspired by the Sadie Hawkins dance." Finn says as well at take our seats and I take mine in the back hiding from everyone while still glancing at Jake who's sitting in front.

"Which I thought of. It was my idea." Tina says.

"Yea, thank you, Tina. And every girl will sing to whoever they want to take to the dance." Well that's just great isn't it?

"Well I for one love this lesson. I've got a song I wanna sing to somebody." Kitty says looking at Jake and I guess this made me decide what I'm gonna do.

"Yes Camila?" Finn asks when he saw me raising my hand.

"Finn if that's the case can I be the first?" I ask.

"You have something?" He asks and I nod.

"Then go right ahead." He says and I got up taking an acoustic guitar putting the strap around my shoulders before I started playing and soon started singing only but sometimes glancing at Jake (Video up top). When I finished all of them clapped except for Kitty who just rolled her eyes and I smile a little.

"That was amazing, who did you sing that song for?" Finn asks standing beside me now and I take a deep breath and walk to Jake.

"Jake, would you go to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me?" I ask nervous and he smiles.

"Yes, yes I would." He says making me smile.

"Cool." I say making him chuckle and pat the seat next to him.

"Are you sure?" I ask Santana on face time while looking in the mirror and I see her smile behind the screen.

"Yes you look beautiful, and you're singing one of your songs there right?" She asks laying in her bed and I nod.

"Tina made me." I say making her chuckle.

"Well you look amazing, you should be heading out." She says and I sigh taking another look in the mirror (Pic up top). 

"Ok.. thank you sis." I say and she nods.

"Anytime, but I have to go now I'll talk to you later." She says and I nod before the screen went black and she was offline. I nodded to myself in the mirror before walking out to head to the school.

Jake POV

I can't believe she asked me to the dance and that song, did she write it for me? I really wanted to ask her that but I knew she'd get embarrassed. I talked to Noah about Kitty coming on to me and how I did feel like I wanted to give in but I really didn't wanna let Camila down and he said he'd get Kitty off my back and I guess he did. I'm leaning on the wall outside the gym waiting for Camila and when I saw her I felt my world stop.

The dress was red and long and tight in all the right places. She looked so sexy and so different to how she looks on a daily basis, I can't stop looking at her.

"Hi." She says walking to me smiling but my eyes just keep taking in her appearance.

"Is it that bad?" She asks looking down at herself and I shake my head snapping out of it.

"No, it's just.. you look amazing. You left me speechless for a while." I say making her smile and extend her hand to me.

"Care to escort me inside kind sir?" She asks making me chuckle and take her hand kissing it.

"I'd love to." I say showing her my elbow and she looped her hand with mine before we start walking inside.

"This looks so beautiful, Tina did amazing." She says looking around and she was right, it was beautiful but my eyes were only on her. She looks so beautiful and by the way the crowed looked at us as we walked by them I know I'm not the only one that thinks that.

"Why are so many people looking at us?" She whispers looking down and I lean into her ear.

"Because you look so beautiful they can't help but stare." I whisper seeing how her cheeks show a light blush.

"What's up McKinley! We'd like to dedicate this song to all the strong, proud, and empowered ladies who stuck their necks out to make this happen. This week you showed us what it feels like to wait anxiously by the phone that never rings. The horror when all your friends get asked to the dance and you don't and you have to sit there-" Artie was cut off by Blaine.

"Alright, cool, thank you Artie. This next one's for all the powerful woman out there." He says before the music starts and we cheer clapping for them. I stand behind Camila placing my hand on her hip and she glances at me but doesn't say anything or move my hand moving her eyes back to the guys who were singing and dancing on stage.

Camila POV

"You're awesome." He says making me chuckle as we dance.

"No, you are awesome." I say as he smiles.

"I really like you Jake, I really do but.. I have a bit of trust issues and-" He cuts me off.

"I know.. your sister sorta told me what happened to you.. after she threatened me." He says making me blush and look down.

"But you're safe with me ok? What that jerk did was awful and you deserve so much better than that. How can I convince you that you're safe with me?" He asks as a small smile comes to my lips.

"I need you to be with me and only me, to be honest and truthful with me no matter what, to be real and not just something you think I want.. take things a little slow for me to get used to the idea that you're not just using me. If you can do that then we can be together but if you can't then.. I don't think I can be with you.. I can't go through that heart break again." I say.

"I think I can do that, I mean it won't be very easy for me but you mean a lot to me so I'll try." He says making me smile at him and kiss his cheek.
