Chapter 1: Part 1

It was another afternoon in the woods. Luke was our savaging with Pete, (Nicole's uncle) "Find anything yet?" Luke asked curiously as he swepted back his luxurious auburn hair from his eyes. Pete The man in the green jacket scoffed, "We've only been out here ten minutes, be patient we'll find something worth keeping" Pete replied in a stern voice. He knew what he was saying, Luke nodded along to this "Yeah alright, alright"

By now they had been searching for at least an hour. "Hey, uh..shouldn't we be heading home? I mean it's getting dark and lurk-" he stopped mid sentence to hear a agonising scream in the distance "Grab your weapon boy!" Pete hastily snapped at him, as he grabbed his crossbow and the two ran to where they heard the screaming. They finally got to a clearing,Luke pointed out to see a alittle girl "Hey! Are you ok?!" Luke's voice carried. The girl looked pale and also looked like she was about to claspse "Luke get the girl, I'll get the lurkers!" Pete announced, he charged his crossbow and took out the approaching walkers as Luke took the girl in his arms. The last arrow was fired straight though walkers skull as more appeared "Shit! I'm out we better be on our way get the kid and run!" Pete shouted "C'mon kid!" Luke told the child as she had already fainted. They started to run back to the cabin.

Meanwhile at the Cabin. A woman mid twenties was pacing in the dinning room, biting her thumb nail nervously, her hat covering her eyes and she sat down in a huff as a rather large pregnant woman opened the door and walked in "Hey stop worrying they're be Ok" she tried to comfort the worried girl. "W-what if walkers got them?! What i-" She got cut off mid sentence by shouting coming from outside "Hey!" Nicole jumped out her seat, she knew that voice off by heart it was Luke's voice "They're ok!"
