Kylie POV

I woke up with the biggest smile on my face and remembered everything that had happened yesterday.

I quickly checked my phone to make sure it wasn't just a dream.

It wasn't.

All the messages were still there. I honestly couldn't be more happy. I really wanted to text hayes to ask him if he wanted to hang out, but I didn't want to sound rude or anything, so I just left it.

I got up and took a quick shower. I washed my body in my favourite soap from bath and body works, then got out and wrapped my towel around me. I thought I was a really nice day to go to the beach, since it was 32* outside. I got into my bikini and put a white coverup over it. Then put on my flip flops and went into my sisters bedroom.

She was awake on her phone probably texting Nash. I thought it looked like they bonded at the dinner the other night.

"Hey sis, can we go to the beach today?"

"Yeah, can I ask Nash and hayes if they can go?"

"Can we just have a sister day today, cause I really miss how close we used to be"

"Yeah, me too. Give me 20 minutes to get ready and I will met you down stairs!"

"Okay"

I'm really happy that me and Ashleigh are going to be spending some time together today. We have been drifting apart a lot since we moved here.

A/N: 25 minutes later

"Hey sis, are you ready?" Ashleigh yelled coming down the stairs.

"Yep!"

"Okay, let's leave now so we can find a good spot in the beach".

We got into the car and started our 40 minute drive to the beach.

As soon as I got out of the car I can feel the North Carolina summer heat. We found a good spot and I started to tan.

I love summer. It's probably my favourite season. My sister went down to the water and swam out to the pontoon. ( if you don't know what a pontoon is, it like a big grey flooding thing in the water and you jump off of it ).

I started to get bored tanning, so I swam to the pontoon to meet my sister she was talking with some random girl that I had never seen before.

"Hey, my names Kylie" I said trying to be polite.

"Hi, my name is Katie" she said.

She was very pretty. She had long straight brown hair that went just past her butt. And amazing green eyes. And she had such a pretty smile.

For the rest of the day we just jumped off the pontoon and tanned a bit more until we got tired and wanted to go home.

My sister was hanging out with Katie tomorrow and I was kinda jealous that she had made friends before me cause I was always the popular one at my one school. But I guess I have only been here about a week so I will hopefully make some friends soon.

We got home and I was greeted by my mom in the kitchen.

"Girls is that you?" My mom said.

"Yes, we were at the beach" I said.

"Okay, well I have invited the Griers over for dinner on Saturday, so don't make any plans that night okay!".

"Okay" I said and skipped up the stairs.

I left my phone at home, so I went into my room and checked to see if I had any messages.

I had 2 from Emily. 1 from Tayla and 6 from Claudia.

I open the one from Tayla first.

Tayla ⚽️: I'm soooo sorry :(

I was beyond confused right now.

I opened the ones from emily.

Emily 🎤: I'm so sorry about all of this...

Emily 🎤: have you heard?

Emily 🎤: please answer... :(

I decided to text her back.

Me: what are you talking about?...

I sent that then looked at the ones from Claudia.

Claudia 💖🎀: have you heard already...

Claudia 💖🎀: I'm so sorry, I wish I could just fly down there and give you the biggest hug right now :(

Claudia 💖🎀: pleaseeeee answer...

Claudia 💖🎀: just please don't ignore Tayla.

Claudia 💖🎀: or me or Emily, Tayla didn't know how much you liked him and she felt so bad when I told her....

Claudia 💖🎀: please reply soon. I have to go to dinner but I will try to text you later. I love and miss you millions ❤️

Me: what are you guys talking about?

Claudia 💖🎀: have you not heard?

Me: NO! Can you please tell me, I'm so confused...

Claudia 💖🎀: Tayla and Andrew are going out...

I couldn't believe what my eyes just saw...
