I sighed. "This is taking too long," I groaned. I had forgotten how much shadow travel took out of other people.

When we arrived, I had laid the boy on the couch, and didn't even bother with tying him up. I used to, but now I have enough control with my powers that I don't need to.

At this point, boredom has taken over my anger and my eyes have returned to their normal gold color in the irises. I sat on the couch with my back on the seat cushion and my feet on the wall twiddling with Corvus's feathers while he snuggled into my chest.

The raven and I have an extremely close bond, we trusted eachother with our lives and didn't need anyone else. But, for some reason he has been pretty down lately and I don't know why. Lately, I've been catching him making longing stares as he watched people walk by our apartment.

I perked up to the sound of groaning from the boy and watched the boy rub his face as he began to wake up. "Morning sleeping beauty."

He jumped up, as if suddenly realizing where he was and scrambled into a sitting position as far away as possible from me while still being on the couch. "W-where am I," he stuttered.

I chuckled at his reaction and decided to have a little fun. "We are in the country where I am from, Daemonia and you are to become my slave," I deadpanned.

His face paled at that. "Please let me go, I'll do anything you want, I just want to go home," he pleaded.

I rolled my eyes and looked back towards Corvus. "Do you see this?" Amusement sparkled in his eyes and he crowed in response. I picked him up and held him as I finagled myself to sit upright.

"There is no such thing as Daemonia stupid. I made it up," I chuckled.

"Wait, what?" He asked, confused.

"I'm not repeating it. We are in my apartment, you would have known that if you had paid attention and looked to the left to see the balcony through the sliding doors," I explained.

He looked to the side. "Oh."

I watched as he looked back and forth between the doors and I, becoming more nervous as he switched between the two. "Dont even try it, you know that I'll catch you if you try to get away."

He sighed and looked towards me. "What do you want with me?"

I hummed. "I dont really know yet." I set Corvus on my shoulder and got up to stand in front of the boy, looking him over. "Can you now tell me your name?"

He looked down in embarrassment. "It's Cole, I'm sorry for kissing you."

I stared. Wasn't expecting an apology but okay.

He shifted, becoming visibly uncomfortable under my watchful eye. "So, can you let me go?"

I snapped back in attention. "No," I immediately replied. "Definitely not."

"Why?" He questioned.

"Because if I let you back to school without being punished, it will ruin my reputation and everyone will think they can do anything they want to. How do you think that there are no 'delinquents' of any kind at the school? How do you think it is the safest school in the nation?" I asked.

His eyebrows scrunched together in confusion. "Um, I don't know."

"It's because of me. I run the school and I will not tolerate any kind of disorder under my command. You got that?" He nodded nervously. "This is a dictatorship, not a democracy. You do and act how I want, and you don't have to face the reprecussions." I glanced towards Corvus. "Stay here, and don't even think of trying to escape. We're going to discuss what to do with you."

I walked to my bedroom and the raven flew to the perch next to my bed while I sat down next to it. "So, we both know that we aren't letting him go." Corvus nodded. I put my elbow on my knee and rested by head on my hand, letting my other arm rest on my lap.

"I could break his arm?" I suggested. He cringed at that. "Too harsh?" He just looked at me. "Right. What about we keep him here for a week and actually make him a servant for that time?" He looked off in thought before crowing in excitement.

"You think that's a good idea?" He shook his head. "Have a plan?" He nodded.

"Spell," Corvus rasped while gesturing towards the bookcase in the corner of my room. What can I say, a girl likes some Shakespear.

"Okay..." I trailed off confused before getting my spellbook and placing it open on the bed for him.

What crazy kind of plan does he have now?
