Strange Love

Murphy

Murphy was born in the city and stayed there until when he was 5 years old. He attended his kindergarten at one of the famous primary school in that city. Unfortunately, life started to become so expensive and his parents could not afford to pay for his education. He was then sent to the village where he had to go and continue with his education at one combined school that was about 5km away from his village.

Murphy didn't find it hard being at the village as he enjoyed playing with other kids. He later joined Sunday school, because singing was one of his hobbies. Murphy was good at school work and he got a name "Smart Boy" when he stared wearing spectacles, by that time he was in Grade 6 and singing in a Junior School Choir. He looked so innocent but infact Murphy was very naughty but he had respect for his parents and teachers at school including everyone who was older than him.

He was already in thier church youth Choir and Senior School Choir when he wrote Grade 10 final examinations. During the holiday he joined another choir at church where some of his teachers were singing too. The results came and Murphy passed very well so he had to go to the secondary school.
He went to one of the successful secondary school in their region and he was in Grade 11c, in which a lady with a name Via was. When Murphy first saw Via he felt something, something so strong that he had never felt before and it got him confused.

It hasn't been so easy for him since he didn't know what to do, he kept what he was feeling for Via to himself for about a month with some question that he was asking to himself.. "Do I need to do this because I am at a secondary school and my parents are not here? Is it because I have seen it from my friends Trent and King back from the combined school? Why didn't I feel this way for any of those girls that I knew and we have been together for some time be it in a choir or in class? I don't understand this!" Said Murphy.

Murphy made friends with Rose, one of the girl at thier table and he later found out that she was born on the same year, month and date as him and started calling her his twin. Murphy ,Trent and King were friends from combined school and their friendship continued. They were lucky because they got a same room in the hostel with another roommate "Dean" who also became part of the team later.

These four boys were all singers and they joined the SCM but Via joined CLG. Singing was Murphy's hobby, so he joined the School Choir too. The tension between Murphy pand Via started getting stronger day by day.

As days kept going it was now time for Murphy to stand and say something to Via as they were still not talking but just looking at each other, Via had the same idea but she didn't know what to do or where to start. She was afraid she is gonna lose him, she even started getting jealous whenever Murphy was talking with other girls. One day Murphy was given a responsibility to write a summary on the chalkboard so others could copy since he was the class representative. Unfortunately Via was not present at the time people were coping and when she returned to class people were already done.

Via could have asked her friends their note books to copy from but because she wanted to be sure of what she was feeling for Murphy she went to him instead. It was not an easy thing because that was gonna be thier first time say a word to each other. "Hi Murphy, can you give me Mrs Saara's book that you were coping from? I wasn't here when others were coping from the board." Asked Via
Murphy was busy setting up the classroom cleaning list, he stopped and looked to Via, their eyes met and they both froze. For about 10 seconds later he looked away, took a book from his bag and said to her "sure, Here". Via took a book from Murphy and turned back to go.

Via walked three steps from Murphy towards her table and she heard his sweet and soft voice behind her "Via!" when she turned back,  he was looking at her, thier eyes met again and she started blushing. Her smile gave Murphy courage and he said to her come here.
Murphy told her, "I also didn't get a chance to copy the notes into my summary book as I was busy writing on the board. Can you please go with my book so you copy those notes in it too?" Will asked her to see if she will refuse but she didn't. She told him that it wasn't a problem at all.
