Author's note: It feels good to write and I do not know why I do not do it more often. I really am trying, but thank you to all those who still support me even though I am not the most consistent! With the help and support from y'all (especially ) I really am gonna try to get back on track with my posts!!

Tyler's shoulders bumped into yours as he jumped from a sudden crash of thunder from outside. You giggled as you rubbed his hand that was intertwined with yours.

"It's just thunder, my love!" you reminded him. He looked over to you and nodded. His brown eyes still had this look of fear as he looked back towards the window.

"What's that knocking noise?" he asked as he turned around swiftly. You strained your neck so you keep see what he was talking about and you saw that there were a few branches from a tree outside that was hitting the kitchen window.

"Just a tree. This storm is crazy!"

"Crazy and scary. I hate thunderstorms," Tyler mumbled. He made sure to dramatically push his bottom lip out and pout. You reached up and ran a hand through his messy hair. You were pretty sure he forgot to comb it after he had crawled out of bed today, which was fine. It was a Sunday, which meant both of you did not have any work to do, and it was decided to be spent by watching Spider-Man Homecoming. You both were expecting a rainy day, but definitely not expecting the massive thunderstorm that came with it.

"Let's take a break from the movie for now." You reached over and pressed the pause button on the remote.

"We didn't even get thirty minutes into it," Tyler frowned.

"It's okay, it's hard to pay attention with the thunder anyways."

"It's so dark in here." Tyler stood up and walked over to the window to open the blinds, but right as he did the room lit up from a lightning strike in the sky. It must have been close to the house because almost instantly the room shook a little from the boom of the thunder. You heard Tyler shriek and fall to the floor.

"Are you okay?" you asked Tyler who was now laying on the ground, his head in between in legs.

"I hate thunder! I hate the weatherman! This is not fair!"

"Tyler, my love, it will pass! It's okay!" You sat down on the ground next to him and wrapped your arm around his body. You could feel his body shaking, realizing that he truly was scared. "Hey, look at me."

"Yeah?" Tyler looked up so his eyes locked with yours.

"Kiss me," you whispered softly. Tyler's lips locked with yours.

"What was that for?" Tyler asked as he pulled away.

"Do you feel better?"

Tyler nodded, "I suppose, yes."

"Good! Then it worked!" You smiled and stood up. You reached a hand towards Tyler and pulled him up so he was standing up straight.

"Can we make hot chocolate now and go back to the movie? If I get scared again I can just have another kiss," Tyler asked with big eyes. He looked pathetic. Pathetically adorable.

"Hmm, I suppose," you giggled. "You can't just pretend to be scared though to get a kiss."

"I won't!" Tyler put his hands up in defense.
