"Luke, it's been months. You need to move on, I don't think we'll be seeing her again.." Ashton says.

"HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT? I can't give up on my best friend!" I yell.

"We understand, Luke. It's hard for us too. She was our friend as well." Michael says.

"YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND! YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW MUCH IT HURTS TO HAVE YOUR BEST FRIEND --THAT YOU'VE KNOWN SINCE YOU WERE 10-- MISSING." I pause for a moment. The guys just stood there, speechless. It was one of those days again. I've tried to move on, but I just couldn't. I miss her.

I continued as I leaned against the white wall and slide down to where I was now sitting, "N-not being able to see her beautiful face everyday..o-or see the way her eyes light up when she talks about things that make her happy...or even being a-able hear that contagious laugh of her's.."

Calum sat next to me. "We miss her too, Luke." He says softly.

"I w-was gonna tell her how I really f-felt about her. We were gonna be r-roommates." I said, burying my face in my hands. I was having a breakdown.

"You need to move out of this apartment, Luke. I know you you're barely here since we've been touring, but every time we come back to this town, you come here and breakdown." Ashton calmly says.

There was long silence between the four of us.
"Y-You're right. I gotta get out of here." I say, getting up.

We all start walking towards the door. We froze when we saw door nob started to turn. The door opens, a girl walks in and turns on the light.

My eyes widen as I quickly processed who it was. I run up to the girl and hug her, tightly.

"Cass! I've missed you so much!" I say.

The other boys finally realized who the girl was as well. They run up and hug Cass.

"Cassandra! You're back!" Michael cheers.

Cass hugs us back."I missed you guys too. I've only been gone a few days." She chuckles.

We all stop hugging her, taking a step back to look at her. "Cass. You've been gone more than a few days." I explain.

Her face drops. "What?" She says, almost a whisper.

I look at the guys, they were concerned too. "L-let's take a walk?" I walk over and grabbed her hand, pulling her outside with me.

Her apartment was on the edges of LA, but it wasn't too far from some shops and restaurants of the city.
It was a quarter to midnight. It was a bit chilly this time of night, which was weird. We walked in silence for a few moments.

"What's today's date?" Cassandra asks, looking down as she walks.

"It's, um, July 19th. 2015." I tell her.

She stops walking and looks up at me.
"What? I've been gone for seven months?! Oh my god, Luke. I thought I was only gone for a few days! But I guess a few days ended up being a few months..." She says, running her hands through her hair.

"Hey it's-"

"Am I gonna be held back when school starts back?! No, no. Luke, what about my parents? They must be worried sick. I gotta go see them." She says, walking away.

I quickly grab her arm. She turns around and stares at me with those tear-filled blue eyes.

"We'll figure something out. And you're parents, th-they moved. After a few months, they couldn't handle it. So, they moved back to Australia." I explain. I hate seeing her like this.
